Aki POV

Days passed by and the cross country was getting closer. "Okay! Only one day left before the cross. Prepare yourself Edgar or must I say prepare your purse. This bag will be mine." I said looking at the calendar.

"Don't talk too fast." I jumped as I heard Edgar. He was standing at the door. "You know that you can be funny sometimes, talking by yourself like that."

I blushed and kicked him out of the room. "We will see." I said sticking out my tongue like a little child.

"Hey, what's that? You're like a kid." he joked.

"Yeah, I'm still a kid." I said. I closed the door and slumped back on the bed as it was Sunday. I went out at around ten o'clock. I went for a walk in the park and saw Kazuya looking at some children playing nearby. One of them accidentally kick the ball towards him.

"Could you please throw it back to us." they shouted. Kazuya grabbed the ball and looked at it with a sad face. He walked towards them.

"Would you let me play with you?" he asked them.

"Ok."

I went to sat on the bench and watched them. After playing with them, they laid down, exhausted. I walked towards them.

"Would you mind having an ice cream?" I asked. "I'll pay."

"Yeah!!" shouted the children. "I will have chocolate."

"For me vanilla."

"Strawberry!!"

"What flavour for you?" I asked turning towards Kazuya.

"I thought you hated me." he said surprised.

"I never said that I hated you. I just said that you will regret it."

"I'll have chocolate then."

"Two chocolate, two vanilla and one strawberry." I asked the man.

"Here you are miss." he said hanging me the cups.

"Thank you." I said. We went to sit on a bench and ate the ice creams.

"Mmm...thank you for the ice cream!!!" said the children.

"You're welcome."

"Why did you suddenly offered the ice cream?" asked Kazuya as the children had gone to play again.

"Well, I'm like that."

"Hmm...I see."

"Can I ask you a question?" I asked.

"What is it?" he said, his gazed still fixed on the children.

"Why did you looked sad when you were looking at the ball?"

He gasped."...Was I? I didn't notice." he said forcing a smile. I know that he was hiding something.

Before I could ask anything else, the children ran towards us."Come and play with us!" said one of them dragging us by the arm.

"Ok, ok. We are coming."

We played happily when two women approached us."It's time to go home." said one of them.

"Noooo, we want to play with oni-chan and nii-san!!" they complained.

"But it's getting dark and I think that they also had to go home." replied the woman as the children hid behind us. "I'm sorry for causing you trouble."

"It's nothing. They were like angels." I said. "If you want, we could play again next time, ok?" I said to the one behind me. "What's your names? Mine is Aki."

"I'm Kenji."

"Hiiro."

"Takashi."

"Well then Kenji, Hiiro and Takashi, we could play here again another time." I said smiling at them. "What do you say?"

"Ok."

"You could also come and look for us. We live at the Windsor resident."

"I know where it is." said the woman. "I could bring you one day."

"Yay!!" they exclaimed happily.

"Say, what's your name?" asked Hiiro tugging at Kazuya's shirt.

"Kazuya."

"Are you her boyfriend?"

"No. No, we are...just friends." I quickly said.

Kazuya bent down to Hiiro's ears and whispers something that I could hardly make out.

"Ohhh!" he exclaimed.

"Goodbye!" they exclaimed waving their hands.

"Goodbye."

Kazuya POV

"What did you tell him?" she asked as we were walking home."He was like 'Ohh'."

"It's a secret."

"Come on. Tell me!" she exclaimed.

"Hmm..." I looked at her. She was ready to hear the answer. "No."

"Why?" She pouted.

'Gosh! She's like a child!' I thought.
'Well that's what makes her cute. Wait! What? Did I just thought that she was cute?' I looked at her. She was begging me with her puppy eyes, clasping her hands. "I told you, it's a secret."

"Then what about this." she started."Tomorrow is the cross. If I win, you will have to tell me."

"And if I win?"

"I'll do your homework for a week."

"Yeah, fine by me."
