Chapter 4

Aki POV

"It's your turn now Aki!" said Touko handing me the microphone.

"No, I'm fine. And my singing is bad." I immediately said.

"Come on. You accepted to come along, so you have to participate." said Rika.

Touko and Rika were my best friend. Touko is an active girl who likes to do sports. She most of the time go to the seaside to surf with her boyfriend but she always says that he was only a friend.

Rika, is the exact opposite of Touko. She is girly and the boys are all over her. She had a boyfriend but she break up with him after finding that he had another girl.

*sign*"Fine."

I grabbed the microphone and began to sing. My friends mouth dropped open. I finished the song and looked at them. "Erm...what happened?"

"Aki. You...your singing is..." said Rika losing the words.

"Amazing." finished Touko.

I blushed. "You're exaggerating."

"No. We're not. You were so great! " exclaimed Rika.

"Well, maybe a bit."added Touko and we all laughed.

"Say, Aki! Do you have someone you like?"suddenly asked Rika. "We're friends after all. You can tell us."

I choked and looked at her with big eyes. "Where did this come from?"

"Is it Edgar? Hiroto? Or..."

"None of them." I cut her off.

"Then there is someone. " said Touko. "Who?"

"There WAS someone but when I confessed, he rejected me." I said softly.

"Who was the one that rejected my cute Aki? " said Rika furiously. "If I see him I promise that he will regret it. "

"It was ten years ago. I was only seven at that time." I said calming. "He had probably forgotten me."

"Forgotten you? If he has, I will haunt him down until he... he...arg..."she shouted.

"Calm down, Rika. It's not possible that he had forgotten her." Said Touko. Rika and I looked at each other.

"What do you mean?" We asked together.

"You will see." She chuckled. "It's not an hazard that you had fall for him."

"Like you and Jousuke." teased Rika and she turned red.

"I don't like him...I mean...we're just friends. "She said.We chatted, sang and laughed until it was time to go home.

"See you both tomorrow. " I said.

"See you." They waved at me.

"I'm back!" I called when I arrived at the residence.

"Ah! Welcome back."greeted Kira. "I think that Edgar had already went to sleep and the new resident hadn't returned from his walk yet. "

"I see. As always he went to sleep early. Well, I think that I will do the same. We have another meeting tomorrow morning. "

"Good night. "She said.

I took a shower and went to bed.

~Next morning.~

Kazuya POV

*Pip Pip Pip ...*

I knocked the alarm clock off. I took a shower and got dressed in my new uniform, Raimon High. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs.

"Good morning. "greeted Kira.

"Good morning. "I said sitting at the table. "Where's Edgar and Aki?"

"Oh, they had already gone to school. They are in the student council and they had a meeting this morning. "

"Ah, I see." I ate my breakfast and went to school. "I'm off."

"Have a good day." I heard Rika said from upstairs.

When I arrived at school, everyone was looking at me.*whispers*

"A new student?"

"Kyaaa!He's so handsome!"

‘What a pain in the ass. These girls are so annoying! ’ I thought when a girl with brown hair approached me.

"You must be the new transferred student, aren't you?" She said. "I am Natsumi Raimon. The daughter of the Principal and also the student council President. Come with me."

I followed her and she showed me around the school."This is your class and here's your time table."she said handing me it.""Excuse me then, I have a meeting."she walked off and turned at the corner.

When classes began, the teacher introduced me to the class. "Silence please! We will have a new student from now on. He comes from America."

"America?"exclaimed a girl.

"Please sit down, Rika. You will ask him questions after class." said the teacher. She sat down and look at the girl sitting behind her.

"You can sit behind the empty desk over there."said the teacher pointing at the desk beside Rika.

First period, I have homeroom. The girl, Rika spoke to me."So you come from America. There's also another American in the class."

"And where is she?" I asked.

"She? How do you know that it's a girl."she said astonished.

"Let me guess."said the girl behind Rika."You rejected a girl confession ten years ago, didn't you?"

"You are him?"shouted Rika. All the gazes fixed on us."You dare to reject my Aki!"

"It's not my fault. A girl that I don't know suddenly confessed to me and you want me to accept?" I replied.

"You should have said that you wanted to know her better first." exclaimed the girl.

"I don't even know why I'm answering your questions. I don't know you." I exclaimed.

"Well, I'm Rika and this is Touko. We are both Aki's best friends."

"Oh!"

"Don't you 'Oh' me!"cried Rika when suddenly the door opened and someone came in.

"Aki!" shouted Rika. She looked at us and when she saw me, she freezed.

"Kazuya?" she said almost shouting.
