the eyes are the windows to one's soul..
heterochromia iridis (n.) : a condition where both irises are two different colors
...
everyone knew, so did kageyama. it was never something he was proud of, in fact he despised it.
he despised his eye colors, he just wished they were 'normal', like everyone else's. his parents told him that he was 'special' and 'different'.
he didn't want to be either of those, he just wanted one thing. . . to be normal. when he started elementary he was outcasted and teased about his eyes.
it got a bit better in junior high, he made a friend who was just like him. he was okay for once, but of course you win some you lose some.
she moved away in their second year, leaving him alone to once again be outcasted and looked down on.

the time when teasing slowly but surely transitioned into physical bullying, the teachers of course were concerned about the ravenette showing up to classes with bandages on his face and arms.
...
he was ecstatic when school was out, hell he even burned all of his school papers. kageyama had the time of his life during summer.
his mother even let him choose contact lenses to have the same color eyes. when summer ended and school begun once more, he was treated normally.
but unfortunately the universe seems to dislike him, for whatever reason, so the lenses ended up breaking at home.
when the next day arrived tobio had to force himself out of bed, dreading what would happen when he set foot in school.
side notes:
tobio's left eye is blue and his right eye is completely black. he uses blue contact lenses. also heterochromia is so beautiful . ✧ . yay, double update lmao
