tobio walked out of the convenience store, in a bit of a hurry since he knew that keiji and kei would be worried that he was out this late at night.
right when he was about to walk into the parking lot, he saw a small child crying in a corner.
the ravenette felt his heart ache when he saw snot and tears running down the poor child's face. softly sighing he turned around and slowly approached the child.
"hi there, why are you alone this late?" tobio asked, his voice laced with concern. the boy looked up, his lip slightly quivering, multiple scars and brusies were scattered on his little plump face.
"i- parents, left me" the child muttered, tears welling up in his eyes, his little body shivered from the cold. tobio felt a pang of sorrow in his heart, how long has this kid been out here? and what type of parents would just abandon their child at a store?
"okay, buddy, do you want to come with me? if you aren't comfortable, i can just take you to the hospital okay?" the ravenette softly spoke. the child nodded his head, tobio seeing that the child wanted to go home with him.
the ravenette squatted down and carefully scooped him up as they made their way back to tobio's car.

tobio took the things he had bought, out of the trunk, the boy's tiny feet were wrapped around the ravenette's neck, while his chubby fingers were tangled in tobio's silky and soft hair.
before tobio could fish out his keys from his pockets, the door opened revealing a concerned looking noirette, along with a slightly pissed blonde.
keiji and kei's eyes travled up, not failing to notice an unknown child playing in their husband's hair. the noirette opened his mouth to speak but was quickly cut off by tobio. "i know, i know, i'll explain inside just help me first".
keiji and kei both sighed, helping tobio with the load, the noirette taking the toddler off of tobio, and the blonde taking the bags, his muscles flexing as he had no struggle whatsoever carrying them.
in any normal situation tobio and keiji would've drooled over kei's defined biceps, but they obviously had to have a discussion before doing so.

"okay, so, yeah that's how i found him" tobio finished, while bouncing the toddler on his thigh. "alright love, i get that you want to help him, but, we really can't just take a child in, without paperwork. and frankly i don't know if we're ready to be parents yet" keiji explained calmy. tobio looked to tsukishima, his eyes begging the blonde to disagree with keiji.
"i'm sorry tobio, but i agree, we know that you want to help, especially since his situation reminds you a lot about yourself". "please, guys, give us a chance please!" the ravenette begged. 'cmon, beg with me' tobio whispered into the child's ear.
"p.. please, i be good, promise" the toddler begged, pouting along with tobio. kei and keiji turned to each other, before the blonde said "okay, fine, you have five days to convince us to adopt him". tobio squealed, hugging the child that was now currently in his lap.
