"You know BTS?!?!"
Y/n rolled her eyes in fake annoyance "Duh!! You think I wouldn't tell my baby about her dad. What kind of mother do you think I am?" She sat in the seat next to me, then pulled out Eunji's leap frog educational game and headphones, to keep her occupied as we have this serious conversation. "Hi to y'all too after, you know, 3 years!"
I could tell namjoon and yoongi were still upset or perhaps confused on how they were supposed to approach the situation. At one point, they were closer than we were; they were best friends, so of course they took it hard when y/n left and cut off complete communication without warning. After three years of no communication, they greeted her with a simple "Hey" and went on to give their attention to our daughter. I could tell that that hurt her feeling but I can't blame them, she left us.
After the initial shock passed, we decided to start the intense conversation that needed to be had.
"Kit, Mommy, Daddy, and your uncles are going to talk for a bit. Why don't you put on you're headphones so we can talk" Soojin said with his fake ass. Literally just moments ago he was trying to coax me into asking y/n to get an abortion.
"No! Mommy and daddy call me kit, no you! I talk to uncles more. " My Kit crossed her arms and pouted once again.
Y/n was quick to speak up "Hey little girl, respect your elders. I didn't raise you to be rude. Now apologize."
"Sowwy adjussi." Everyone in the room including myself cooed.
"Now play with your leap frog. You can talk to your uncles in a bit okay!"
"Okay mama!" I smiled and place my hand on Y/n's and intertwined our fingers.
Once again, a voice rang out in the room signifying that someone else was coming in. As soon as she entered, Y/n spoke up in an annoyed tone "What is she doing here?"
"Well this is a big deal! I should be here, especially after the little stunt my fiancé pulled!" Yuna said as she flashed the ring that I was forced to give her.
I looked at Y/n and saw the look of heartbreak and disappointment spread across her face for a moment. Then it shifted into placid coldness. She lifted her hand from mine and pulled our daughter into her lap. I'm assuming she needed her comfort and familiarity in the moment so I tried not to be too hurt by it. Key word tried!
This wasn't the time for that talk yet. We had to first tackle to situation at hand. Soojin announced that since I had already made the announcement, it was my decision whether I wanted to find a way to sweep it under the rug or officially reveal my family. To Yeona chagrin, I, of course, decided on the latter. This resulted in Yeona leaving in a fit of anger.
So began the most draining and arduous conversation I've ever had. So far we had decided to hold a press conference to officially reveal our family to the world, just as the others have with their girlfriends and wives in the past. That segued into the conversation that we are having at the moment.
"No i don't want to move!"
"How can we protect you if your halfway across the world!"
"I don't need your protection! We can call off the announcement. You can say whatever you want to cover your asses and make this whole thing go away. I'm not uprooting my life again! You can get married to Yuna, and forget about us!"
I could tell Soojin was satisfied with her response but I wasn't. I looked over to see Y/n in tears at the prospect of having our family separated once again. My daughter, seeing her mother in distress, whiped her mother's tears and hugged her tightly "Mama no cwy. Eunji no like see mama cry"
"Mommy's okay Eunji, don't worry babygirl." I could tell she wasn't okay. In my heart of hearts I knew that y/n was no longer going to allow me to be in my daughters life if I subjected her to a life of secrecy once again. She'd rather banish me from her life than allow my daughter to feel as if she was unworthy of her fathers attention. For that I can't blame her. I couldn't bare the thought of seeing my daughter cry as I say my last goodbye to her.
I looked at her took a deep breath before speaking. "I'll move to New York. I'm not going to be separated from my family again. I think army will understand that my family is my priority. If I have to step down front my career to see them happy then so be it."
Soojin erupted into anger. "There are people counting on you. What you do effects them. Are you really going to let them down for this girl and her best child. You've been together for 12 years and you're going to give that up?"
I got up picked up my daughter from Y/n's lap, grabbed Y/n'a hand and left the room after saying a final I'm sorry to my boys and going back to Y/ns apartment.
A/N:
Do you think Junkook made the right decision? Is Y/n being stubborn about moving?
