I woke up and Cleo was at the edge of the bed. If she would've moved a muscle her ass would be on the floor.

"Baby..." I said

"Huh??" She asked turn around and she fell

I bust out laughing. I went to the end of the bed and looked over.

"You okay??" I asked with a goofy grin

"You supposed to ask me was I okay first, then laughed..." she said looking at me

"I'm sorry..." I said laughing again

I reached out to help her but she ended up pulling me down on the ground.

"See next time I'm not gone be nice. Imma let you get up yourself..." I said looking at her

"Well..." she said smiling

"What you wanna eat??" I asked

"You..." she says

"Cleo..." I said side eyeing her which made her laugh

"I want some pasta..." she said

"Alfredo??" I asked and she nodded

"Okay let's go get in the shower then I'll cook..." I said getting off the floor then helped her

Before I went got in the shower I called Bri to check on her and the boys.

"Hello..." she said answering on the 2nd ring

"Hey, y'all alright??" I asked

"Yeah we just now leaving..." She said

I said okay and hung up. Cleo went into the bathroom, let out the water that was already in there then ran the shower. We got in the shower, bathe then go out. We got out and put our clothes on. She had clothes here so she just put some of them on. We went downstairs, I pulled out everything and started cooking. In the middle of me cooking, I heard the front door open and I heard Geo calling me.

"MOMMY! MOMMY!!!" He yelled until he made it to the kitchen

I was looking at him. He reached up and I picked him up.

"Look! Bri-Bri buy me a car..." he said holding up his car

"Yeah, he wasn't gone let me out the store until I bought it..." she said as we laughed

"He do me the same way..." I said putting back down

"Where friend Cleo??" He asked

"In the room..." I said then him and Rhys flew upstairs

"What mom and dad was doing??" I asked stirring in the Alfredo

"Nothing. She said she haven't talked to you in a while. What's going on??" She said sitting at the kitchen table looking at me

"So Cleo was at Geo's birthday party and like I told you Mom had something to say. So like every summer the kids go to her house for a week. While they were there Mom told Rhys that Geo was more special cuz he had 2 moms. Rhys was sad and upset cuz he thought Geo was more special then him. Of course mom told him that. So I called her and told her she has no right to tell my son anything, especially not that. Rhys and Geo get the same amount of love from Cleo and I. I told her that Cleo wasn't going no where and she's going to have to deal with it..." I said looking at her

"I understand. She was making it seem like you just disrespect her for no reason..." she said and I gasped cuz WHAT!

"Bri you know I love my mom to death and would never disrespect her. Yes I was upset but I didn't disrespect. I did hang up in her face tho..." I said

"I know how much you love your mom. You hate to even tell that woman no..." she said making me laugh cuz it's true

I would give my mom my last and she knows it. I just feel like I've finally found someone to make me happy not only that, a person whom my kids like. She should be happy for me but she let what she believes in get in the way of supporting her daughter.

"Wassup with you and your mom??" I asked looking at her

"You know that woman and I never get
along..." she said and we laughed

"What happened this time??" I asked

"We bumped heads really bad about something very stupid. It was petty argument and she took it way too far..." she said

"Well that's the old folks for you cuz her sister do the same thing..." I said and we laughed

We was quiet for a while.

"Have y'all ran back into Tobias??" She asked

"We did today. Him and Cleo got to
fighting..." I said

"Wait! What!!" She asked looking at me

"This morning when we woke up Cleo nor I felt like cooking breakfast so we went to Denny's. We was sat beside this older couple and they were just staring. I told them hey and they ain't say nun back so Cleo told me don't worry about them. We was holding hand then all of a sudden our hands were ripped from each other. When we looked up it was a older woman. You know older people don't do the gay shit so she was just going off. Cleo was arguing with her so I was like I'll just go ask for another seat. I went to ask for a seat and the hostess was fucking rude. So I just was like Nevermind and I went back to the table. Cleo was going off on the old woman. Cleo was really bout to fight this woman. So, to just diffuse the situation we were just said let's go. Cleo was upset and the kids were lowkey scared. I grabbed the boys and Cleo and we left out. On the way out Tobias stupid as came from around the corner talm bout some, "where y'all going I was just about to join." I'm like, "Tobias gone, it's not the time." He gone look at Cleo and asked me, "what's wrong with ya bitch." Bro Cleo turned around and was like "I got your bitch" and she punched him in face. It surprised me cuz I yelled her name. I'm like what the fuck!!" I said

"So Cleo was real life fighting this man..." she said

"Hell yeah. So I threw the kids in the car and tried to break them up. The two was too strong for me. So a man came and broke them up for me. They were still arguing and tryna fight each other. I don't know how but I got Cleo in the car and we came home..." I said

"That's why her face was a lil scratched
up??" She asked and I nodded
"I thought you did it..." she said

"Girl hell no. I wouldn't dare put my hands on her..." I said
"Also I asked her to be my girlfriend today..." I said

"WHAT!!" She asked getting up and walking up to me

"I asked her to be my girlfriend..." I said laughing at her kool-aid smile

"Wow, you must really like her??" she asked smiling

"I actually do..." I said smiling just thinking about her

"And I like her too..." we heard Cleo say which made us turn around

She was looking and smiling at me.
