I was woken up to Bri calling my name, I tried my best to ignore her but she started shaking me.

"Oh my god Bri..." I said rolling over looking at her

"Shut up cuz you knew we had an breakfast date this morning. Ain't nobody tell you to stay on the phone with Cleo all night..." she said walking off

"Leave me alone..." I said before I yawned and stretched

I got up and went to the bathroom. I did what I needed and started brushing my teeth.

"Delilah!!" I heard Bri calling me

"Yeah..." I said after spitting out toothpaste

"Something got delivered here for you..." she says

"Huh??" I asked

"You got something delivered here??" she asked

"No, I didn't get nothing delivered..." I said finishing up brushing my teeth

"Bitch I'm not asking you, I'm telling you..." she said

"Oh, what is it??" I asked wiping my mouth

"Come see..." she said

I came out the bathroom and I seen flowers on the table. I smiled and walked up to them. They were some beautiful pink roses. I smelled them and they smelt great. I looked at them and seen a card. I grabbed it and opened it.

Hey baby. I can't help the feeling that I ruined your night last night. I know you said I didn't, but I did. Since last night wasn't good, let me make it up to you with dinner. Tonight let me take you to dinner to make it up to you.

I was smiling like an idiot reading the paper but the end made me laugh.

"What those for??" Bri asked

"Cleo's apology from last night. Also, she wanna take me to dinner tonight to make it up to
me..." I said looking at her

"Must be nice..." she sung making me laugh

"Shut up..." I said pushing her as we laughed

We started getting ready for our little breakfast date. After we finished, Bri ordered a Uber, I grabbed the flowers and took a picture. I sent it to Cleo and told her I got the flowers. A few seconds later she texted back.

Me: Breakfast date with Bri...

After a few our Uber came, we went to the lobby then got in the Uber. The Uber driver spoke to us and we did a little small talking before we made it to the breakfast spot. We stepped out the car and the aroma of the food smacked me in my face. It smelt go good. Bri stomach growled and I looked at her.

"Shut up..." she said before I could even say something which made me laugh

"Come on..." I said still laughing

I linked my arms with hers and we walked into the restaurant. We walked in and I seen it was black owned.

"How many?!" A girl asked at the counter

"2..." Bri said

"Follow me..." she said as she grabbed two menus

We followed her around to a booth. We sat down and she gave us our menus.
