After seeing what I saw I was furious. I can't believe my mom would do something like that. Like I'm not some random bitch on the street, I'm your daughter and you do me like this.

I took my grandma to the store like I promised. Once I dropped her off, I took off and took a drive to clear my mind. Once I made it home I seen that mom was all packed up and gone. I went upstairs to my room. I seen Cleo at the edge of the bed looking at the door. She was waiting on me to dot this door.

"I'm sor—..." she started but I held up my hand up for her to hush

"How long has this been going on??" I asked leaning on the door frame

She looked up at me as I stared back at her.

"2 weeks..." she said before looking down

"She been here for 2 weeks..." I said
"Cleo has this been going on since she came??" I asked and she nodded

She looked at me.

"Why you didn't tell me??" I asked her

"I seen how happy you was when y'all started getting back to normal, I just didn't want to mess it up. I didn't want to be the reason you and your mom doesn't have a good relationship..." She said

"Is that why you asked why I gave her your number??" I asked her and she nodded

She grabbed her phone, opened it, went to messages then passed it to me. I grabbed the phone and seen my mom was sending her nudes.

"Those stopped after a week because I got tired of it so I blocked her..." She said taking her phone back

"Why you didn't tell me??" I asked once again

"I was planning on it once they left..." She said softly

"Cleo this is not some shit you can just sweep under the rug and bring back up later. This is some shit you tell someone when it first happens. You shouldn't have kept this from me..." I said lowkey upset cuz why

"Baby I know. I just didn't want any drama..." she said

"Cleo you keeping it away from me this long has brought drama. No matter how it came about it was always going to be drama and you knew that..." I said

She looked up at me and I could see how sorry she was but that didn't excuse the fact that she didn't tell me.

I sighed and walked passed her. She grabbed my arm and pulled me to her as she stood up.

"Baby I'm sorry, Okay. I should've told you but didn't did want anymore drama. I saw how happy you was when y'all started getting on the right page, I just didn't wanna mess it up..." she said

I was bout to say something but she cut me off.

"I know, I know. If something like that was to ever happen again I promise I will tell you the first time it happens..." she said looking in my eyes

"You promise??" I asked her

"I promise..." she said as we hooked our pinkies
"I'm sorry baby..." she said pulling me into a hug
