I had to leave because the kids will be out of school after a while. Soon as I pulled up, the bus pulled up behind me. The boys flew off the bus towards me.

"Heyyyy mommy..." Geo said hugging my leg

I picked him up and went in the house.

"Soooo, how was school??" I asked as we all walked in the kitchen

"We had nap time..." Geo said smiling

"So it was good..." I said laughing at his happiness

He nodded then I looked at Rhys.

"Today we had a test and I forgot to
study..." he said looking down

"What you make??" I asked looking at him

"75..." he said looking at me for a quick second then looking back down

Normally I'll be on them about their grades, but I seen that he was beaten himself up. He knew I would be kinda upset but I decided to let loose. I'll let him slide this time cuz at least he got a passing grade.

"Don't beat yourself up. I'll let you slide this time, but don't let it happen again..." I said looking at him

"Thanks mom..." he said hugging me

"What y'all want to do??" I asked looking at them

"Park mommy..." Geo said

I looked at Rhys.

"You wanna go to the park??" I asked Rhys

"Sure..." he said

They took their book bags upstairs, came back down, and we left. Before we got to the park I asked them did they want food. They both said "yeah", so we went to Chic-fil-A. We ate our food on a bench at the park then they went to play while I was on the swing. My phone started ringing, I pulled it out my pocket and looked at the caller ID. It was Kace FaceTiming me.

"Hello..." I said answering the phone

"Ummm, bitch where are you??" He asked with his face all in the camera

"I'm at the park with the boys..." I said swinging on the swing

"Which one??" He asked

"The one down the street from the house..." I said

"I'm on the way..." he said before hanging up

I was still on the swing and 5 minutes later he pulled up. He got out the car and walked up to the swings.

"Wassup..." I said swinging looking up at me

"I seen you've been spending a lot of time with Cleo..." he said looking at me smirking

"What!!!" I said looking at him

"You heard me..." he said

"Today we went to get things for the movie night, then we went to eat. Her best friend and her girlfriend was there..." I said looking at him

"Okay, but what about the other day??" He said with his eyebrow raised

"She took me to get food cuz we were hungry..." I said

"Sound like a date to me..." he said smiling

"Kace, no. We were talking about the kids, and checking up on things..." I said slick rolling my eyes

"Don't get them knocked out friend..." He said tapping my nose

I held up my hand and gave him the middle finger.
