PANIC RIDDLED YOUR mind as you frantically searched the entirety of the estate in search of your prince but he was nowhere to be found. For the nth time that day, Thoma had snuck out behind your back and without his father's permission.

On any other day, it would've been overlooked but today in particular was his coming-of-age ceremony that must be performed. As the heir and prince of the family, Thoma was expected to attend in order to be blessed by the gods so that his life would remain prosperous and happy. Evidently, your prince held no interest in such 'frivolous' rituals and deemed them as a 'waste of time'. You've begged and pleaded but to no avail— Thoma simply did not wish to attend.

You sighed, nodding as he pulled his hand away from you to admire your flushed expression. "My prince, the ceremony preparations needs to be done before your father—"

Thoma hushed you, placing a finger over your lips to silence you. "Now, now. There's no need for you to address me so formally when we are alone. And forget about the trivial ceremony and your duties for a bit, come with me. I have something I would like to show you."
