BEIDOU HAD A soft spot for you. Of course, she would never say that aloud but to the rest of her crew— it was blatantly obvious. She very rarely allows anyone onto her ship yet you were an exception. She adored you which really showed because every time you stepped foot onto her beloved ship, she would shower you in compliments and praise. This time was not exception. The Crux was set out to uncover some treasure set on some unknown island between the borders of Inazuma and Liyue and had invited you to come along with her crew.

"Yo! (y/n)!" Beidou greeted you with a wolffish grin, waving at you as you slowly approached the captain with some reluctance. A frown replaced her smile as she crossed her arms. "Is something wrong?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at you.

"Oh... Baizhu forgot my batch of motion sickness pills so I'm just, a bit anxious." You admitted, laughing precariously as you walked onto the dock of the ship with a sheepish smile.

"Anxious? I'll make those worries disappear! Some alcohol could help with it!" With the wave of her hand, some of her crew mates carried over a wooden box of booze. You laughed nervously, the box certainly had enough alcohol to get any average person drunk for a day straight. You kindly turned down Beidou's offer of drinking your sickness away and opted to simply sit and enjoy the view. Of course, Beidou provided you the best view possible at the main mast crow's nest.

"Oh wow..." You muttered softly, looking at the glittering ocean.

Sunlight reflected the vast body of water, light refracting off the blue. Majestic waves rolled against the ship, rocking it back and forth, lulling you forth into a eternal slumber. The murmuring tides were powerful yet gentle, singing its siren song in a quite trance. As beautiful as the ocean was, danger lies within the mesmerizing water. It made you wonder, if this was why Beidou chose to venture these waves in search of adventure. The thrill in journeying through these glittering waves that possessed unknown dangers did sound quite exhilarating.

"It's beautiful... even after seeing this time and time before..." You whispered, staring in awe. Beidou chuckled, taking a seat beside you. "Heh... is it? I know a better view..." Beidou chuckled, her ruby eyes fixed upon your figure.

"Eh? Really? I wanna see!" You turned to her, eyes glittering with excitement to which she laughed aloud. "Look right here." She pulled a compact mirror from her pocket, turning it to you. You blinked, eyebrows raising in confusion. "Huh...? But Beidou that's me—" Your eyes widened in realization as your face flushed red, hands reaching up to cover your reddening complexion.

"Heh, you're even cuter when you're blushing." Beidou laughed jovially, playfully hitting your shoulder. "Beidou, p-please..." You mumbled, hiding your face behind your fingers.

"I'm merely stating fact, you're adorable." Her blatant flirting made you redder by each passing second. But a sudden churn in your stomach caused your expression to twist as sudden nausea crashed into like the waves against the ship. Beidou caught the shift in your expression, concern immediately filling her eyes. "(y/n)? What's the matter?!" Her voice full of urgency.

Your eyebrows knitted together as you tried to swallow the building lump in your throat. "N-nothing... I'm okay, Beidou." You half-smiled, trying to suppress the urge to throw up.

Beidou frowned, shaking her head as an arm snaked around to your waist, pulling you close. "Deep breathes, slowly." She instructed, rubbing your back in a circle pattern. You heaved a long breathe, slow and languid to ease the knot building in your stomach to keep the bile down.

"How are you feeling?" She muttered, ruby eyes fixed on you. A small smile tugged at the corners of your lip. "Better... Thank you, Beidou."

"Feeling seasick? Come, I'll lend you my shoulder. Lay and rest." She used her free hand, patting her shoulder as an invitation. You smiled, doing so as you were told. It felt nice, getting to rest your throbbing head and witnessing such a beautiful view with Beidou beside you.

"Beidou..." You mumbled, eyes flickering to the pirate queen beside you. "Hm?"

"Thank you for always allowing me on your ship."

Beidou blinked twice before a fit of laughter erupted from her lips. "Why are you thanking me? Of course I would allow you on! Why would I not—"

"BEIDOU! QUIT FLIRTING AND GET STEERING!"

"OI! CANT YOU SEE I'M HAVING A MOMENT WITH (Y/N)?!"

Beidou sighed, shaking her head. "I'm sorry, (y/n). I'm be right back." You giggled, nodding. "You're fine, I won't be going anywhere. I'll be right here, waiting for you."

"Heh— cheeky aren't ya? Stay right here, cutie." Beidou pressed a chaste kiss against your cheek before leaping off the crow's nest, leaving you a flustered mess.
