Part 84: Dust Underfoot (unfinished)

Aizawa's group had not been separated as fast by Mimic's attack. At first they were mostly left alone after being shoved into another hallway.

The building was every bit as bland as Overhaul's old hideout, probably to make it easier for Mimic to control it. So nothing stood out that would help them navigate, and no windows or doors.

The halls led them deeper and deeper, and downward, much like his other hideout.

Finally, they ran into Rappa, who was still leading Mirko and Shigaraki.

They had all been pretty quiet since their impromptu sparring match. MIrko declared she could hear movement and sensed a fight coming.

Shigakr here nothing and wan' very good at sending danger , but Rappa agreed with her, so he took her word for it.

They nearly attacked the other group when they ran into them before they knew who it was.

"It's just you," Aizaw would much rather have found Momo and Shoto, and was salty.

"Geez, I nearly drop kicked you," Mirko put her foot down. "Where's the other four?"

"I don't see Dabi," Shi ha Ben oing a head count. "OF course, you all Brandon him.

"actual, we hanv' see-- him since we got split," Miss Joke was the only one who spoke to him at all Normally out of this group. "I thought he was with you."

"And Creati and Todoroki," Aizawa said.

"Ha'n seen them," Mrkos hokoe her head. "BTW, what's Todorki's hero name, I don't think we should just refer to each other by our real names, how is that supposed to intimidate these hooligans?"

"What fairy tale World would that be?" Sghiarka socfa t the idea. "no, he's simply working with us to achieve his goal."

"His goal?" Aiza naor his eyes, he didnt' trust any of Ovhelr guys, and Rappw s one he ocudlne asily erase the quirk of also.

"His goals to get the crap kicked out of him b me," Mikro pointed at herself proudly. "Or vice versa, but we all know I'll win."

"RArign to go now," Rappa grinned.

"Donw boy," Mirko said. "Still not the time."

"I''m confused," Kaminair said, and for once he wasn't the only one.

"It's like this," Mirko gestured granld. "He was gonna attack us, but we talked him into helping us instead with a tile persuasion. I promised to fight him, and the walking face palm over there made some speech about this being beneath his honor' or some crap like that. And it all worked out. Got it?"

"all I know," Mis Sjoke said. 'sit hat Shien would be sorry to miss whatever story you just told, and she'd probn be laughing right now. Where is she?"

"I'm sure she's with the other,s" MIrko wasn' Prank worried about her.

Shgi was more worried. Shien and DAib both missing took his entire alled force out of the picture for him.
