𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐕𝐈: 𝐌𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐇𝐘'𝐒 𝐋𝐀𝐖
𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐍𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐀 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊, 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆. Sweat shined on her forehead, making her hair damp. She chuckled breathlessly. Her legs were still twitching from the exertion of what just occurred. She pulled the poor bedsheet up to her collarbone, melting into the bumpy mattress underneath. She looked nowhere but up, occasionally closing her eyes to try and calm her breathing down. She placed a hand over her racing heart, listening and feeling it slow down to normal pace. Her legs stopped moving, her breathing became slower, her body temperature dipped to a bearable lukewarm. She giggled.
"We should really do that again."
Bellamy Blake grinned at her. She hadn't looked at him yet, but that simply meant that he had all the time in the world to examine the woman that was laying comfortably next to him. Her hair, without being washed or straightened for about ten days was now frizzy and was developing her natural waves. Her light blue eyes that bordered on stormy grey sparkled with cheekiness and joy. Pure, unbridled joy. He raised a hand and ran it down her arm, causing goose bumps to erupt over her skin, making her shiver. He smirked. He loved the effect he had on her. He, however, also knew that had a particular effect on him, revealed when she finally looked at him with those eyes.
Dear god, those eyes. He'd willingly go to war if it meant that he could look into those eyes forever. He recognised that look in her eyes, and he chuckled.
"I know that look," he told her quietly. She blinked up at him innocently. He groaned internally.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
With a smile wider than the Cheshire Cat's, Maggie rolled back on top of the unsuspecting boy. She braced and balanced herself with her hands on his shoulders. She smiled down at him as his larger hand gripped her hips, his own smile quirking his lips upwards. He ran his thumb over the healing scar that the 'sea monster' left, as she called it. It was healing nicely. She leant down and kissed him.
His hands slid from her hips up to her shoulder blades. He groaned and lightly dug his hands into her shoulders when she nipped his bottom lip. Her hands cupped both his cheeks, her elbows resting comfortably on his chest.
To Magnolia, he was the everlasting moon. To her, the moon was the sign of the light side of Bellamy, the side that held her gently and always placed a hand on her skin whenever he needed the occasional reassurance. The side that allowed him to show the vulnerability that all human beings had, but only when alone with her, and only with her. However, there was also the other side. The side that he showed to everyone. The cruel, dark side that all humans also had. This was his protective side, the side that wanted to keep everyone safe. The side that would willingly crawl into the dark with no light just to save the people he cared about.
