That was exactly what Magnolia was feeling as she witnessed her best friend proceed to crack the seatbelt over the Grounder's body like he was a common criminal. Her hands were over her mouth in horror, ever flinching at the sounds that echoed throughout the room, mingling with the man's screams.
Even Clarke's begging would not sway him, and Bellamy kept going. His face was void from emotions, as though he turned them off deliberately so not to feel any remorse for whipping an innocent man. He wasn't the same person, the innocent and mischievous person that Maggie had the pleasure of knowing on the Ark. He was turning into Earth's creature. Her monster.
Octavia was sobbing now. "Enough!"
"Clarke!" Raven called. "He's getting worse!"
"We're running out of time," Clarke muttered, turning to the Grounder again. "Which one? Which one is it?! If you tell us, they'll stop! Please, tell us which is the antidote and they'll stop this!"
Bellamy finally stopped whipping the man, who as miraculously still standing on his own two feet. "If that doesn't work," he grabbed a tool that looked like a 'T', "maybe this will." He turned to his sister, his friend and the blonde. "Clarke, Maggie, you don't have to be here for this."
Maggie was trying to calm her breathing down, processing what the hell she just witnessed. Clarke didn't spare her a glance. "I'm not leaving until I get that antidote."
So, Bellamy stepped toward the Grounder, brandishing the tool in his grip. He straightened so to try and intimidate the man. "Last chance."
The Grounder said nothing. Bellamy drew his hand back and plunged the tool into the Grounder's hand. Maggie shrieked, and the man roared.
"Bellamy!" the brunette yelled. "Too far! He's not fucking Jesus Christ on his way to be crucified!" She started toward the groaning man, but Bellamy quickly intercepted and took her forearms into his large hands with a firm grip that was bruising. He pushed her backwards, making her stumble into Octavia.
Raven crawled up the ladder and onto the level. "What's taking so long? Why did Maggie scream?" She looked at the Grounder then to the blonde. "He's stopped breathing."
"What?!"
Raven soothed the girl slightly with her words. "He started again but next time he might not." Her glare that was directed towards the Grounder was enough to kill him is looks could.
"He won't tell us anything," Clarke said. Maggie had one shaking hand on her stomach and the other one clutched the younger brunette's one tightly. This was worse than any horror movie she had ever watched.
