1. Plan your story. How do you want it to start, progress and finally end? You can decide how it will progress later, but you have to know how you want it to start and end. Many people fail to write good books because they simply do not plan, (me included but now I know what failed me.)2. Write to bring out emotions. Let your readers feel the picture you are painting not just read it. Let ypur readers feel as if they're in the book. For instance, instead of just writing, he looks at her and smiles and she returns the smile, write something along the lines of he looks into her eyes and feels the euphoria pulsing through him. He felt complete again and this brought a radiant smile to his face to which she returned with an equally radiant and beautiful smile.
3. Put yourself in the reader's shoes. Read your story as the reader. Do you feel hooked to the book and feel the emotions you want to portray in the story?
4. Lastly, read books from very talented writers to get more tips on how to write an award-winning book. Also, read and get more tips from more than 1 or 2 writers as it gives your book a unique diverse quality which people will love.
*Always remember you can write a book. There's no such thing as barriers. Get that pen and paper or device you want and get to writing! We can do it!*
