The Color Black

~Harry's POV~

I woke up today doing my usual routine​ before walking downstairs seeing someone on the couch. I walked over and Hermione was fast asleep. I lightly placed my hand on her shoulder watching as she slowly woke up, she looked at me sitting up.

"Harry, what are you doing?"

"I always get up at this time, I go down to see Sirius before class."

"Oh."

She stood up and went to walk upstairs, I shook my head.

"Hermione."

She turned around and looked at me.

"Do you want to come with me?"

She yawned, nodding her head.

"Yeah, just let me get dressed, I'll be right back alright."

I nodded my head and she ran upstairs. She came back moments later with her hair down and in her black pumps. She gave me a small smile as we walked out of Gryffindor common, we began our walk to the dungeon to see Sirius before class.

~Hermione's POV~

When Harry and I walked in Sirius already had two cups of coffee, he gave me a confused look.

"Didn't expect to see you up so early luv."

I yawned nodding my head as I walked over to the couch and laid down, Sirius walked to me, rubbing my back, looking at me with concern. He looked at Harry, who shrugged his shoulders and looked down at me.

"What's wrong Hermione?"

"Didn't sleep."

He looked at me.

"Why not?"

"Can't."

"Hermione what's going on?"

I sat up a bit looking at him.

"After what happened with Ron, I haven't been able to sleep, I have nightmares. I just end up staying up all night getting maybe thirty minutes of sleep."

"Hermione that's not healthy."

"No shit Sherlock, I could've told you that, but I kind of can't help it, I plan on going to see Madam Pomfrey after class."

He nodded his head.

"Do you want me to go with you?"

I shook my head.

"No, it'll look suspicious and the last thing we need is for anyone to get any ideas."

He nodded his head understanding before handing me a cup of coffee. I smiled sitting up placing a quick peck on his lips. He smiled before getting a cup for himself. The rest of the time Harry, Sirius, and I sat in Sirius's main room. I was basically falling asleep on Sirius, until it was time to start walking to class. The three of us walked down the hall, I linked my arm with Harry laying my head on his shoulder. We walked into the room of requirement and I took my seat while Harry started teaching and Sirius took his seat at the desk doing god knows what. When class let out I stayed back waiting for Harry. The door behind me closed and Sirius walked to me with a smile on his face. I shook my head knowing that anyone could walk in at any moment. I looked at the door and just like I thought Professor McGonagall walked into the room. I looked at Sirius and he shook his head. I smiled at Professor McGonagall, I haven't seen her yet this year.

"Good evening Professor."

She smiled at me.

"Oh please Hermione, call me Minerva, we lived and fought through hell together, please."
