~Graduation Day & Family Truths~

~Hermione's POV~

I was woken up this morning by the sound of a shower running and I knew that Lily was up. Today's a big day for her, it's her eighteenth birthday and the day she graduates from Hogwarts. When the shower shut off the bedroom door opened and she laid between Sirius and I, she leaned over and kissed his cheek. He rolled over and smiled at her, I smiled, she hasn't done that since she was ten years old.

"Good morning Daddy."

He smiled.

"Good morning baby girl."

She gave me a hug before getting up at the sound of a knock on the front door. She jumped out of bed and ran to get the door and I knew that it was Harry and Ginny. I smiled, placing a hand on Sirius's chest before giving him a kiss. I pulled away and he smiled, I let out a sigh looking at the still open bedroom door before looking at Sirius with a small sad smile.

"I can't believe she's eighteen and graduating today, it seems like just yesterday I was giving birth to her and graduating in a hospital bed."

I laughed and Sirius just shook his head.

"Yeah, time does fly, and it sucks."

I nodded my head before going to get out of bed but stopped when I heard lily scream. I grabbed my wand and ran downstairs with Sirius behind me. We walked into the main room, to see Lily smacking Harry's back as he carried her over his shoulder. I shook my head at them and he set her down after seeing my face, I walked over smacking him in the back of the head.

"Damn it Harry, you almost gave us a heart attack."

He laughed.

"You're too young for a heart attack."

Sirius stepped forward.

"She maybe, but I'm not."

He laughed again and I shook my head at his dumb ass before Lily grabbed my hand and dragged me upstairs to her room. We looked through her closet until we found the dress that she wanted to wear, we found a two piece thigh length shirt with a flower pattern and matching crop top showing off her silver belly piercing. I held it up and she smiled nodding her head holding up a pair of silver high heeled shoes, I smiled as she got dressed. I felt small tears coming to my eyes, my little girl isn't so little anymore. She smiled at me and I smiled before flattening her hair and letting it flow down her back.

"Mom..."

I looked at her.

"Yeah sweetie?"

"Why didn't you and dad have any more kids?"

~Flashback~

"Poppy, it seems like no matter what we do we can't get pregnant again, what's wrong?"

She looked at me and sighed before looking down.

"After Lily was born, I did an extra check up and found that there was too much damage to your uterus. I'm sure that it happened because of the sexual abuse, and then you added the actual birth it was just to much for your body to handle. I'm so sorry you two."

Tears slid down my face as Sirius held me, I knew he was heartbroken like I, but all he cared about was how this was affecting me, I could see it in his eyes.

~Now~

"Your dad and I just had our hands full with you, we just wanted to take care of you sweetheart."

"Mom, I know there's things you and dad haven't told me and tonight I want the truth about how you and dad got together. The full truth no more secrets alright, I'm not some defenseless little girl anymore mom, I want the truth."
