~Hermione's POV~

I woke up this morning completely alone, I hated this feeling, and I missed Sirius like crazy. Today's the holiday ball and tomorrow the train comes to take us to god knows where, I still don't know where I'm going, it's kind of stressful. I heard a knock on my bedroom door and I opened it to see Ginny standing there, she gave me a small smile holding up her dress and shoes.

"Can I get ready with you?"

I smiled stepping to the side letting her in, she hung up her dress before we both ran to the lavatory for our showers. I washed my hair, shaved my legs, and did all of that stuff before getting out and blow drying my hair. I looked in the mirror at my natural wavy hair before flattening it, I walked out of the shower to see Sirius about to knock on my door, I cleared my throat and he turned around.

"What are you doing here Sirius?"

He let out a sigh.

"I wanted to know what time you wanted me to pick you up?"

"You're not, you're going to meet me downstairs at the door."

He shook his head as I tried to walk into my room, he grabbed my wrist, looking into my eyes.

"Why are you so upset with me? You're my girl, I assumed we were going to this together, I'm sorry I didn't ask you, but I didn't think I needed to. When it came to coming home with me I was going to ask you tonight at the ball. I had everything planned, I wanted this for you, I want to be with you and you're acting like I stabbed you in the heart."

"Sirius, you know me, I like to have a plan and everything figured out. I don't like waiting till the last minute, so I'm going to make you wait till last minute to see me."

"Hermione, come on, I love you."

"I love you too Sirius, just give me some space until tonight alright?"

He nodded his head and I walked into my room locking the door behind me, I looked at Ginny and she shook her head.

"Hermione, go after him."

I shook my head.

"No, I can't, he needs to give me space."

"You're so full of shit Hermione, you love him, you need to be with him."

"No, I need space."

She shook her head walking over to her long green and floral Chinese styled dressed and her light pinkish white shoes. She pulled on the dress and she looked really pretty, Harry's going to flip. I curled her hair leaving it down before giving her a light player of make-up. When she was done I grabbed my white dress removing all the wrinkles, before grabbing my black high heels. I reflatened my hair grabbing my dress, I pulled it on tying the small strings and looking in the mirror. My dress had slits on both sides that went to my upper thigh. I pulled on my black studded high heels, before doing my make-up. I applied a thin layer of black eye liner, with some mascara and black smoke eye-shadow. I looked in the mirror and smiled happy with how I looked. I then looked at Ginny and she smiled at me. I let out a sigh before we walked downstairs to see Harry. He looked good, he had on a black suit with a silverish gray vest, and a black bow tie. He smiled at Ginny pulling her into a hug.

"You look beautiful Gin."

She smiled pulling away, I decided to walk down to the ball on my own giving them some space to be together. I walked to the door not seeing Sirius anywhere, I walked into the hall to see him talking to Minerva, she looked at me and smiled. Sirius turned around and his eyes went wide, a smile appearing on his face, I turned around walking out of the room. I started walking down the hall until I was spun around and pulled into Sirius's chest, he looked into my eyes.
