~Harry's POV~
Waking up early to talk to Sirius has become a usual thing, I got up pulling on my uniform and grabbing my books after brushing my teeth. I walked down to the dungeon to see Sirius and figure out what happened to Hermione last night, she never showed up for dinner. I walked into his chambers to see him already up and dressed, I walked over getting a cup of coffee before looking at him.
"What happened with you and Hermione last night, she never came to dinner."
"That's between me and her."
I let out a sigh.
"Come on Sirius, what happened?"
He let out a sigh and I knew that he was caving in.
"Alright, we kissed, and it was amazing, but she ran away and I know it's never going to happen again."
"Why do you say that? You don't know what's going on with her."
"You're right I don't, but by the way she ran out yesterday suggests she doesn't want anything to do with me."
I looked at him like he was crazy.
"Let me ask you, did you kiss her and she just kissed back because of instinct, or did you just get close and she closed?"
He thought for a minute before a smile came to his face, I shook my head and smirked.
"It's okay, you don't have to say anything Sirius."
I walked out of the dungeon with him following me to the room of requirement for class, we walked in to see the room full of our students. I taught class and noticed that Hermione was really quiet as Ron sat next to her with his arm around her shoulder. I looked at Sirius to see him scowling at Ron and Ron smirking at him, I shook my head before dismissing class. Sirius stood up and watched Hermione as she left with Ron clinging to her like a five year old to his parents, I shook my head.
"You going to let him walk away with your girl?"
"She's not my girl."
"You want her to be."
He let out a sigh shaking his head walking out of the room, I laughed following him to the dinning hall. I took my seat next to Ginny across from Ron and Hermione, Ron still clinging to her. I couldn't help but look at Hermione and see the sadness in her eyes. I looked at Sirius to see him looking at them with sadness, and jealousy written all over his face, I couldn't help but feel bad for them. They deserve to be happy, they deserve to be together and Ron is getting in the way of that, but at the same time Hermione needs to leave and I know she won't.
~Hermione's POV~
All day Ron's been clinging to me like a cat afraid to land in water. I haven't been able to forget about yesterday, the way Sirius held me close, the feel of his lips against mine. The way he looked at me with his deep gray eyes like I was the only girl in the world. I was pulled from my thoughts by a pair of lips connecting to my cheek, I looked at Ron giving a small sad smile, a smirk playing on his lips. I looked up at the teachers table to see Sirius looking at me and Ron with sadness and jealousy, I looked away before standing up. Ron grabbed my hand and I looked at him shaking my head, ripping my hand from his grasp walking out of the dinning hall.
"Mione where the bloody hell are you going?"
"Away from you."
I felt a rough hand grab my wrist and yank me into the boys lavatory throwing me on the ground. I heard the door lock and grabbed my wand only to have it kicked out of my hand. I felt a hard hand come across my face and a sting in my cheek, I looked at Run, he looked at me before pushing me down and what I heard shocked the hell out of me.
