Meghan's POV:
"Going out?" Jack asked, coming into my room. I was currently getting ready for my date with Connor.

"Yeah, which one? The jacket or sweater? I'm going on a date with-"

"A date?!" He exclaimed." Who? Where? When?"

"I know it's surprising but I shouldn't stay hung up over Luke. There's more out there." I said." And his name is Connor; he's on the football team and we're going out for coffee and maybe a movie." I explained.

"How do you go from completely heart broken about like like two weeks ago to going out with someone different?" Jack asked.

"I don't know," I muttered." I'm not going to sit around and wait until I'm over Luke. Life goes on and I need to move on with it."

"Then go with the jacket. It's supposed to get warm and at least you'll be able to take the jacket off without getting a ticket for "nudity"." Jack said. He gave me a sympathetic look before leaving. I finished getting ready and waited for Connor to pick me up.

Jack's POV:
"She's going on a date." I announced as I walked into Sammy's house.

"Wait what?" Jackjack asked.

"Who?" Sammy added.

"Michelle Obama- who do you think?!" I said sarcastically." She just left for a date with some guy on the football team."

"Then we shouldn't be worried; I'm sure that whole team is gay because no straight group of guys can suck so bad at football." Sammy said.

"Is she over luke?" Jackjack asked.

"I don't think so. She didn't sound that excited for this date either; I think she felt bad about saying no."

"Maybe it's not really a date. Maybe she's wrong and it's just two friends getting coffee." Sammy suggested.

"Oh of course it's a date. Girls like her don't go out on friendly outings with guys." I said." I don't know how I feel about her dating again. I didn't even like her dating Luke let alone anyone else."

"There's Nothing we can do about it because she'll just say there was no problem with Luke then she'll just get sad thinking about what happened." Jackjack said." The only thing we can do is accept the fact that she is going to start dating guys and trying to move on from Luke."

Meghan's POV:
"I am so sorry, I didn't mean to spill coffee on your shirt." I said to Connor as I helped  clean the stain I his shirt.

"It's my fault, I made you laugh too hard with that Mrs. Stevens impression." He replied. Mrs. Stevens was the secretary and she had this accent that caused her to pronounce words that end in 's' end in 'sh' so over the announcements you'd hear 'clash' instead of 'class' or 'berks' instead of 'books'.

"I feel bad for making fun of her accent but it's so funny." I admitted as I stabbed water on the stain." I think I have a stain stick in my bag."

"You can prepared didn't you?"

"Never go anywhere without it. Never know when it'll come in handy." I said as I dug it out of my purse and started using it to get the stain out.

Once it was remotely gone, I stopped treating it.

"Moving past the coffee incident, tell me about yourself; I feel like I only know you as a cheerleader or as a girl in my English class." Connor said.

"Well I'm a junior, I like to run but don't do it as often as I should, I'm vegan, and I love cats. Everything cats, in-fact." I explained." What about you?"
