Calum's POV: "This ones for the memory book." Madi said as she snapped another picture of us coming from the stage.

"Ew," I commented." Why do you always get the grossest ones?"
"Well hate to break it to you but you always look gross." Madi laughed." Besides it shows your true nature; hot and overworked by doing something you love."
"Did you just call me hot?" I asked her as we started walking back towards the dressing room.
"Really? That's your takeaway?" She said." But to answer your question, yes I most certainly did call you hot. Mainly because you're like a human space heater at all times but if you want to think that you're attractive by all means go ahead."
I gave her a playful shove before packing up my bass.
"Are you sure you have to go back to California?" I asked her.
"Well my internship ended about nine days ago and I'm currently broke from tuition so yes, yes I do. This was not cheap you know especially since I had to practically beg Mark to let me tag along with him on this tour." Madi explained. Mark was the photographer who took most if not all our tour and album cover pictures. Madi has been interning for him while we were in Australia for our break and was then granted permission to come along on tour for the most part." Long story short, yes I do have to go back. This degree won't get itself."
"What if I pay for you to stay? Then will you come on the rest of the tour?" I asked, whining a bit.
"First of all, I could never do that for countless moral reasons but I would like in debt to you so no thanks and even if that were an option, i would decline because if I don't go back now I won't be able to complete my other courses. Second semester starts in about a month and by then you'll be done with your tour and moving out there. I still have exams to take and reports to fill out about what I learned while abroad."
I poured before she wrapped me in a hug." Don't worry cal, we'll see each other again."
"It's not that, I just had so much fun with you these past couple months. Who else will make fun of Luke with me?!" I said." Besides you already know how I feel about you but I know-"
"Obviously not." She chuckled." Do you not remember Michael's birthday party?"
Michael pushed me to go over and talk to Madi who was making small talk with my sister.
"Dudefinish your drink and go talk to her." He drunkenly opined. I finished what was in my cup before going over to her.
"Heyyyy," I said. She took one look at me and chuckled.
"Are you drunk?"She asked.
I scoffed and shook my head no." No I can handle my liquor." She nodded before lightly pushing me over and I toppled to the ground. By this point most people left including Ashton and his sister plus Luke.
