One Month Later
Meghan's POV:
"Do you have everything?" Jack asked me." I want you to be ready to leave this house tonight and not be scrambling to get your stuff together."

"Yes everything is packed. By the way Connor should be here soon so we can all exchange presents then since I won't see you guys till after Christmas as well." I told him.

"I better go out and get you something then." Jack joked. I playfully hit him as I got up to fill up my water bottle. A half an hour later Connor was here and when I saw he was empty handed I decided to take back the batting cage.

"My present is in the car but I need you to close your eyes." He instructed. He went back out as I went back to the couch." Now keep your eyes closed. This was one of the first things we talked about at the beginning of our relationship if that gives you any hints."

He instructed me to hold my hands out and when I felt fur I opened my eyes and almost screamed.

"You got me a cat?!" I yelped as he handed the little kitty to me. I held it in my arms and petted it as Connor looked at me with a big smile.

"You said you always wanted one and Gypsy had babies a few months ago. Lucky for you this one is already declawed." Connor explained.

"Seems a little big to be a kitty. How old is he or she?" I asked.

"A couple months and it's a She." Connor answered.

"Jack! I got a cat- Wait, can I have a cat?!" I called.

"What?" He asked coming back into the room. He looked at me, then the cat, and then at Connor." A cat?"

"Can we keep it?" I pleaded." Please, I've always wanted one."

"I can't believe you got her a cat." He mumbled." Sure, I guess but it's your responsibility."

"Fine by me. I'm gonna call you Molly." I said to the cat.

"Molly? For a cat?" Jack asked.

"Don't listen to him, he's just stupid." I said to Molly." Wait, everyone is gonna be out of town, who's gonna take care of her?"

"Oh well I'll take her back home and give her to you guys when you get back." Connor suggested." I'll even get you guys a little box because we have a few unused ones."

"Thanks babe." I told him before giving him a kiss." Here's your gift." I picked a box off the coffee table and handed it to him. He opened it and gave me an astonished look.

"This is the best batting cage in LA! Oh my god, thank you!" He exclaimed before hugging me.

"Meghan, it's from all three of us." Jack said and handed me a little card holder. I opened it and it was one of the Forever21 credit cards.

"Thanks guys! Yours is on the kitchen table and sorry for not being able to wrap it." I said. Jackjack picked it up and gave me an entertained look.

"You got your boyfriend a batting cage membership and a coupon book for us?" He chuckled.

"Batting cage wasn't expensive and you guys are always complaining about having too much work to do. You can add clean cat liter into that as well." I explained." You guys only have me like two hundred dollars."

"I love it." Jack told me and gave me a hug." Merry early Christmas."

"With that, I will take Molly home and I will bring her back when you get home. Merry Christmas everyone and call me when you land." Connor told me as he took the cat and gave me a kiss before leaving.

"Wow a cat, what's going to happen when you two break up?" Jackjack asked.

"He'll have to file for full custody."
