Meghan's POV: "You have no idea how hungry I am." I said to Connor as we got out of his car and started walking down the street to subway.
"Meghan!" I turned around and there was a guy with a camera and a TMZ hat on." Meghan Irwin!"
"Hey." I said to him. He followed beside Connor and I But from the look on Connor's face I could tell he was confused and uncomfortable.
"What is the status on relationship with Luke Hemmings from 5SOS?" He asked me. Connor and I stopped at the door and I looked at the guy.
"We aren't together anymore, I'm dating someone else." I answered." We broke up in October."
"Is that your new boyfriend?"
I nodded and he thanked me for my time.
Connor and I went inside and ordered food before sitting down." Does that ever happen?" Connor asked me.
"Not really. I haven't really been out much since then but I guess it's still a "topic" on the media." I replied." Don't worry they don't have your name so they can't exploit you."
"It was just interesting. I feel like I'm dating a celebrity." Connor chuckled.
We finished lunch and went on our way.
Luke's POV: The two guys taking pictures of us walked away after we came out of Marshall's. Today we went out to buy some stuff for the house like utilities, towels, bedding.
The four of us walked down the street with talking but when I looked up I saw the worst thing I could have imagined.
Walking towards us was Meghan and she was holding hands with the guy I saw in her homecoming picture.
"Meghan!" I hollered. The other three looked up and saw her.
They came up and she introduced him to us." Connor this is my brother Ashton and his friends, or band mates, Luke, Calum, and Michael."
"Really great to meet you." Connor said shaking each of our hands." Meghan speaks very highly of you guys."
I stood there awkwardly and the look she and I shared was so intense that it felt as if all time had stopped.
"Meghan can I talk to you?" I asked her. She gave Connor a look and told her she'd be back before walking around the corner with me.
"What's up luke?" She asked me.
"Ho-how are you dating? Meghan we broke up three months ago, how could you already moved on?" I said." How could you let us go when I'm still in love with you."
"Luke-" I cut her off.
"Forget that being friends crap because you know I want to be so much more than that."
"You wanted to be just friends so guess what, we're just friends." She said.
"You know damn well we are so much more than friends. I know I messed up and I know you still love me, don't even try to deny it, so dump this tool because you and I both know you were way happier with me." I exclaimed.
"If I still loved you, I wouldn't be with Connor or anyone for that matter." She muttered." What we had was great and I'll admit it I'll never forget it but you hurt me and I don't know if I can ever be with you after that no matter how much I miss or want you."

I still loved him but I had to keep my cool. I couldn't go back to him.
With that we walked back to the group and I saw Ashton and Connor were having a nice conversation which made me happy.
"Hey, so we better get going. I'll see you guys later in the week." I told them before Connor and I walked past them to find his car.
"What did Luke want to talk to you about?" Connor asked.
"He just wanted to say he's happy that I'm happy." I lied.
Connor's POV: "He just wanted to say he's happy that I'm happy."
I could tell from the sound of her voice that she was lying but I wasn't going to say anything about it.
As long as she's with me and me only I'm not worried about losing her.
Luke's POV: "We're here with 5 Seconds Of Summer how are you guys today?" The interviewer asked.
All at once we answered with "good" "ecstatic" or "great".
"Let's start it off with this big move you guys did this past week. Coming all the way from Australia must be scary."
"Not really. We have a nice house, both Ashton and Michael's girlfriends live here and Calum's good friend Madi is up at Stanford. It'll be weird being so far from our families but it's all an adjustment." I answered.
"Ah yes, finally being in the same state as your girlfriends. Must be nice." He said." And Ashton's sister who is making some pretty big strides on the media this week. Last Sunday we got a chance to talk with her about the status of your guy's relationship and here's what she said."
The next couple seconds were a video of Meghan being asked about us and her new boyfriend.
"That's gotta be tough." The interviewer said to me." You seem to be doing good on your own though."
Very untrue since I haven't slept in a few days and I've avoided her as much as possible. Even skipped out on the house tour the boys gave her because I was so upset.
The thought of her and that guy made me sick.
"Yeah." I said in a low tone." Let's talk about something else."
