Attacked Again

(Y/N) Pov

The day passed so quickly that before I even realized it was dinner time, everyone was excited for the Quidditch Match tomorrow and it made sense, with all the tension and anxiousness that has been going around, a little bit of fun is all we need right now, I just hope nothing goes wrong and makes the mood even worse.

The weather was dark and gloomy, but it didn't take away the enthusiasm of the students, I had a bad feeling about this but I went along with their mood and decided not to think about it, Draco and I went to the stands, I wanted to say good luck to Fred and George but I couldn't find them before they entered the locker room so I'll just meet them after the game.

The game started and to be honest, I was impressed by the ability of some of the players, being able to play that well with all this rain, wind and thunder without the broom getting a bit shaky was really remarkable, it was hard but if I squinted my eyes I could see Fred and George going from one place to the other trying to cover for Harry. I looked at Draco who had the expression of a child who got some candy, he loved Quidditch and it made me smile, it was lovely to see him happy like this, especially since people thought of him as evil and untouchable, I leaned over and gave him a peck on the cheek, he glanced at me and gave me an even brighter smile, we could hear Crabbe and Goyle comment how disgustingly sweet we were, but they shut up once they met our glares.

We all turned our attention back to the game, the bad feeling I had before returning even worse now, I saw Harry fly up to go after the Snitch along with  Hufflepuff's Seeker, I saw black figures floating down and coming near the stands and looked at Dumbledore but he didn't even look concerned about it, I think he didn't even see them since his eyes were only focused on the way Harry went, a Dementor came and stopped in front of me and before I could even react I was getting all my happiness ripped out of me, I could see something fall from the sky and hear Draco's screams for a Professor and the other students panic.

Dumbledore/ Snape: Aresto Momentum!/ Expecto Patronum!

I vaguely remember two voices screaming my name and a pair of arms wrapped around me keeping me from falling to the ground before I lost consciousness. Once I got my senses back I was in the Medical Wing, Draco was sitting in a chair next to my bed and holding my hand while Hermione, Fred, George, Crabbe, Goyle, and some other Slytherin students surrounded my bed waiting for me to wake up, there was someone I didn't know next to Draco grabbing his shoulder in a comforting way, it was a Slytherin student and I saw him around but never really talked to him.

The moment they realized I woke up I was bombarded with questions, I could hear some commotion coming from the other side of the Medical Wing, my mind was still a bit hazy and confused.

(Y/N): What happened?

Hermione: You and Harry we're attacked by Dementors, Harry fell from his broom but Dumbledore saved him, and Professor Snape acted just in time to perform the Patronus charm to help you.

I looked around the room but he wasn't there, my guess is that he will stop by when there's no one around so people won't gossip things they know nothing about. I gave everyone a grateful smile but I could see how shaken up Draco is right now and I need to help him calm down.

(Y/N): Hey guys, I really appreciate that you stayed here waiting for me to wake up but could you let me talk to Draco for a while?

They all nodded their heads also seeing how disturbed he was about what happened, once it was just us, I turned to him and forced him to sit on the bed.

(Y/N): Hey, I'm alright, see nothing happened, okay? I'm all fine now, take a deep breath, everything is fine, I'm fine.

Draco: I know you're alright, but my mind keeps going to that moment, I was freaking out (Y/N), just like I was when it happened on the train, that lifeless look in your eyes haunts me, I can't lose you, you're the best thing that has happened to me, if I lost you I would go insane and seeing you get attacked by Dementors again made me think about a future where I lost you and I hate it, so, please don't leave me.

We were both crying by now but I was speechless after hearing his fears, the only thing I could do was hold him tight and silently comfort him, I knew my life wasn't going to be easy but I never really thought of how it would affect the people around me, seeing him panicked like this about something that became so common in my life made my heartbreak into tiny little pieces, but it also made want to say something.

(Y/N): Hey, hey, look at me. You'll never lose me, I won't leave you alone even if you ask me to, you'll have to deal with me forever because that's what we promised each other in our first year, isn't it? Always and Forever, right? Besides if I left you who would put all those desperate little girls that are after your heart in their place? As if I could let them steal your heart. I love you, always remember that.

He let out a laugh and I smiled, I hate seeing him sad, crying, and in pain, I promise to myself to always try to make him feel happy, even when it's hard for me to feel like that, because he's too precious for this broken world and I will never let it break him, even if I have to be a bad person to prevent it.

Draco: Always and Forever. I love you too, and you better never forget it either.

He leaned over and kissed me, his lips were salty from the tears he shed a few minutes ago but it still had that magical feeling I always feel when I'm with him, we pulled away and he gave me a forehead kiss before almost tackling me down and cuddle me.
