   We spent a few hours at Connor's house. It felt good seeing him bond with Cori. I'm glad we on the same page. Now, I need to focus on getting out of this marriage somehow. I don't know what it'll take for him to sign the papers. I need to figure out something. Norris a smart, it won't be easy to get him to sign it. Maybe Brian can help me. I haven't talked to him in weeks. Hopefully he still willing to help me and can give me ways to get him to sign it. I texted Brian to see if he was free to meet me. Glad he had an opening. I left Cori with Connor while I go meet with Brian. I'm hoping it's something he can do to help me. Norris can outsmart me with no problem. I don't think he can outsmart somebody like Brian. I mean, this is Brian specialty. I'm sure he's dealt with cases like this before.

I was hoping you could still handle my divorce. Last time I spoke with you or heard from you, you told me not to file. I know, I really need to get out this marriage. He won't sign the papers. I know you've dealt with cases like this before. Yeah, it's more common than you think. It's normally the wife that won't sign. How you get them to sign? Different situations cause for different tactics.

   I had one case where the wife refused to sign. She felt it was still some hope there. They had been separated for years, but she felt like they could make it work eventually. Did she ended up signing it? Yeah, it took a lot for her to. She had to see he moved on for good and it wasn't no coming back. I had another case where the wife refused to sign because she didn't want him to get remarried. She wanted to be his only wife until they died. How did you get her to sign? I made her think she was signing some papers for a business proposal, which I was. Her husband knew how much she wanted her own boutique. We found her a location, I had some papers drawn up, slide them in with the divorce papers, and filed them that same day. That's illegal right? Yeah, technically.

   So, how can you get Norris to sign? I have a few tricks that might work, Brian said. Since it's the man that won't sign this time, ill have to send a decoy in. What you mean? Whenever I have a case where the husband won't sign, ill send a woman in to get him to sign. Sometimes ill use someone from my private firm or use someone that he husband is already familiar with. It's normally easier that way. I have a question, Brian said. How is the relationship between him and his kids' mothers? Him and Veronica don't have much of a relationship. Him and Brooke not on speaking terms since he took their daughter from her. That's it, Brian said. What? I can use her as the decoy. How? She just had the baby, right? Yeah, a few months ago. If he took the baby from her, im sure she'll do anything to get her back. She's scared of Norris; she won't do anything to make him mad. Leave it to me, ill make sure it gets done. You have her number? Yeah, let me find it. I strolled through my phone looking for the number Brooke called me from. I'm hoping whatever Brian got planned works.

   Where the rest of my money, Trevor said? You didn't keep your end of the deal. Mane, you better quit playing with me. You didn't, Connor said. You was supposed to kill him, not just shoot him. Hell, I shot him in the chest. Once his body dropped, I got ghost. I wasn't going to stay around and check to see if he was dead. Now, pay me my money. You didn't finish the job, so you don't get the rest of it. I was paying you to KILL HIM, not just shoot him. Then he knows it was you, Connor said. So, he really going to be after you now. I ain't worried about that, Trevor said. I been meaning to ask you something, Connor said. What's up?

   Why you keep attacking Veronica? You don't need to worry about that. But I am, Connor said. So, why? We got unfinished business, Trevor said. Y'all relationship? Naw, it's deeper than that. How deep? She owes me money, deep. How much? That don't matter, Trevor said. She must owe a lot for you to keep attacking her. It ain't about the amount, it's the principal of it. Have you tried to actually talk to her? Constantly attacking her clearly not giving you the results you want. It will eventually, Trevor said. How about I pay you what she owes you? Why would you do that? This ain't got nothing to do with you, Trevor said. If it's going to keep you off her back, ill pay what she owes. $45,000 and ill leave her alone. That's it?   Thanks for meeting with me, Brian said while sitting down. You said you could help me get my daughter back, so im all ears. I most definitely can help with that, Brian said. How? All you have to do is pretend to sign over your rights to him. WHAT! Let me start from the beginning, Brian said. I'm a divorce attorney, im trying to help Gabriele. Ohhh, and you trying to use me. I don't have nothing to with that, Brooke said. Technically, you do. You played a part in their marriage. I'm trying to get far away from the both of them as possible. I can't do that because he has my child. I'm trying to help, Brian said. How can you help? Norris isn't going to just give me my child back that easily. It's about control for him.    It's a lot Norris is hiding, from all of y'all really. I don't care about none of that. You should, you could benefit from all of this too. He has other kids, tons of businesses, capital, all of that. Really? Yes, that's why he not trying to sign the divorce papers. He knows everything he's hiding will comes out once he signs.
