   Me and Cori made it back to my mom's house. Where y'all been all day? We was at Connor house. What! Yeah, it was time he finally met his daughter. It's been time, my mom said. I know, im trying to make some stuff right. I started with him first. Well, that's good. How'd it go? Really good! I enjoyed seeing him bond with Cori. I let her stay with him while I talked to the divorce lawyer. Really, how that go? He said he have a way of getting Norris to sign. How? He threw a lot of ideas out. He's had many cases like this before. So, I trust he'll come up with something that will work. I hope everything works out for you, my mom said. I do too, I don't think I can take much more of this. As long as you doing what you have to do to fix it. Once Norris sign those papers, im done with all of this. I'm going to finally enjoy being a mother. You think whatever the lawyer has planned going to work? I hope so, I said.

   Hi, can I help you? I'm here to see Norris, Brooke said. Do you have an appointment? No, but I need to see him. Let me see if he's available, Daphne said. You busy, Daphne said while tapping on Norris door. No, what is it? It's a woman here to see you. Who is it? I don't know, she said she needed to see you. Send her in, Norris said. Ok, buzz me if you need something. You can go in, Daphne said. What you doing here? Needed to talk to you, Brooke said. About what? Where is my baby? She fine, Norris said. I said, where is she? Who you talking to? You, Norris said. Don't come in here like you crazy. I just want my baby Norris. Either you can sign your rights over to me or we can get the courts involved. That wasn't so hard, now was it? Don't bring your ass back here, Norris said. Gladly, Brooke said while snatching the papers from Norris. Brian, it worked! I knew it would, Brian said. I'm headed to the daycare to get my baby. That's good! I want you to meet me somewhere so I can get the papers from you. Ok, just let me know where. I will text you an address, Brian said.

   What's up Brian, Connor said. It's done, he signed. Really? Yep, I knew my plan would work. Have you told Gabby? I haven't called her yet, Brian said. Wanted to touch bases with you first. How'd you get them signed? Brooke, Brian said. Really, it worked? Yeah, ive done this trick plenty of times. With as much stuff as he hiding from Gabby, I knew he wouldn't want the courts involved. So, it was easy to get him to sign it. Cool, I got another plan. What's that? I want you to see up a meeting with all of them. Gabby, Brooke, and the other women of his kids. Have all of them together so everything can be on the table. I see where you going with this, Brian said. I already told Brooke ill meet her to get the papers from her. Cool, just have everybody else meet y'all there. I'm on it, Brian said. I was strolling on my phone when I got a text from Brian. "hey, meet me at 34 Kendall DR at 3pm". I'm hoping his planned worked and that's why he wants to meet.

   I got Cori dressed and headed to Connie's house. I know she'll enjoy spending time with Cori. Heyyyy, Connie said while opening the door. Hey, how are you? I can't complain, let me see her. OOOOO! She is so precious! I have a few errands to run and I figured now is the perfect time for you to bond with your granddaughter. Awwww! I would love to keep her. Go take care of your business, we'll be just fine. I'll be back probably an hour or 2. Take your time, Connie said. I left and headed to meet with Brian. I reallllllly hope this is a good meeting. When I pulled up, Brian texted me the table number. When I got there, I saw Brooke sitting at the table.

   What you doing here? I'm meeting somebody, Brooke said. What you doing here? Same reason, I said. Before I could ask a question, I saw Veronica walking to the table. Hey, what you doing here? I got a text from a lawyer to meet him here. I got the same text too, I said. You remember Brooke? Yeah, I do. We might as well sit down, look like we here for the same reason. Brooke, how is the baby? She's good, just dropped her off with my friend. How are your kids? They good, Veronica said. Gabby, how is Cori? Great! I saw Gia walking to our table. I know her, I said. Who? That was my nurse when I gave birth.

   Gabby, right? Yeah, what you doing here? Here meeting someone, Gia said. What she doing here? Now who is this, Veronica asked? That's another nurse from the hospital. Bria, what you doing here? I got a text to meet somebody here, Bria said. What the hell is going, I asked? Veronica just started laughing and shaking her head. What's wrong with you? Us 3 dealt with Norris, Veronica said while pointing at us. That explains why we here, but why are they here? I instantly thought, Bria was the one found Norris at his office when he got shot. I know damn well Norris wasn't fucking her too. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they both was fucking him.

   Sorry im late ladies, Brian said. Brian, what is going on? First, Brooke do you have those papers? Yeah, Brooke said while passing Brian the papers. Ok, everything looks right. Then Brian pulled a stamp out his briefcase and stamped the paper. Here you go Gabby. What's this? I couldn't believe his planned worked. Why you give the papers to her, Brooke asked? The papers you got Norris to sign was divorce papers. What? Veronica instantly started laughing. I like you, Veronica said while pointing at Brian. What that have to do with us, Bria said. I'm getting to that now. While helping Gabby, I discovered a lot of things. All of y'all have kids with Norris. WHAT! Yeah, all of y'all kids are close in age. So, he was fucking all of us at the same time, Bria said. Typical Norris, Veronica said. You got all of us here for this, Gia asked? I thought all of you ladies should know. I think if all of y'all come together, life can be pretty good for y'all. I'm listening, Veronica said.

   Norris has A LOT of businesses and capital hidden. A few businesses are hidden in his children names. That's how he's been able to keep it hidden all this time. Sneaky bastard, Veronica said. The way I see it, clearly he's not a good man. He was dealing with all of y'all at the same time. That alone says a lot, Brian said. All of y'all could get a piece of his fortune. I don't want nothing to do with this, Gia said. With you expecting another child with him, you should be on board. Wait, you pregnant by Norris? Now it all makes sense, I said.    Cool, I have papers for y'all to sign. I can get these processed right away, Brian said while handing everybody a paper. Seeing how Cori not his anyway, im good. I'm not his wife no more, so I could careless about whatever else he hiding. I already know it's going to be some hell when Norris finds out he signed these papers. Going to be more hell when he finds out it was Brooke that tricked him. I really don't care honestly. I'm not his wife no more, that's all I been wanting. I'm free to move on with my life! I couldn't WAIT to rub this all in Norris face. Before going to get Cori, I stopped at his office.

You right, nobody smarter than you Norris. What you up to? I'm still not signing those papers. You don't have to, I said while smirking. Yeah, you up to something. I just wanted to come talk to you and let you know we done. We'll never be done, Norris said. As long as we still married, you stuck with me. Technically, we not married no more.    I pulled the papers out my purse and laid them on his desk. The hell is this? Read it, I said. How the fuck you do this? I didn't do nothing. That's your signature on the dotted line. How you get it there? I didn't sign shit. Clearly you did, it's right there. You did this shit somehow, Norris said. I didn't do nothing Norris. YOU signed the papers! How did I sign them? With a pen, I said. Real funny, you did this shit. I told you I didn't do nothing. I mean, think about who brought you papers to sign. Brooke ass! What about her? She came here with papers about me signing my rights over or we was going to court. And you didn't read the papers? No, I just signed them. Well, that your fault. You a lawyer but you signed papers without reading it first. As it says in the papers, I don't want nothing from you. You free to do what you been doing our entire marriage. You don't have to worry about me at all. I took my ring out my purse and laid it on the desk. You have a nice life Norris. It felt so good walking out of Norris office knowing im no longer tied to him.
