Hello! You know reaching out to my wife was a stretch, Norris said. I guess it worked if you called me. Where is my baby? She's fine, Norris said. That's not telling me where she is. You can send some titty milk or whatever. I need to be with my baby. Me sending milk won't last long. I can only pump so much at one time. I'll have to be around her everyday for that. Well, im hanging up. Norris, wait. Please just let me see my baby. You think moving away without telling me was cool? You know Veronica did that with the boys and how that fucked up our entire relationship. What makes you think ill treat you any different? I wasn't trying to take Naomi away from you, I swear. I just needed to get away. From what? I can't explain right now, Brooke said. You better if you want her back. My ex threaten to turn me in if I didn't move away with him. He recorded a conversation we had when he first got out. Basically, he got me on tape confessing to something he covered up for me. If I didn't move away to start over with him, he was going to turn me in. I had to do what I had to do for Naomi. I had just had her, I couldn't risk leaving her. His parole officer got him this job out here, gave us some money to get on our feet, and wiped this clean off his record. What kind of parole officer do something like that? He said his parole officer real cool and wanted to see him get his life back on track. I just agreed to whatever he said to protect Naomi. So, you don't want to be with him? Of course not. We was apart for 18 years, there is nothing left between us. You know I wanted to be with you Norris. How I know that? You really want to do this right now? I kept sleeping with you knowing you were married because I love you. I really thought once everything died down and you divorced Gabby, we could be together like we been talking about. Vince getting out of jail and threatening me changed somethings. I just went along with everything to stay out of jail. How did he get out anyway? I have no idea, I didn't ask. I have a call I have to take, Norris said. I'll call you back later.
Steve, my man. What's up Norris? I need you to look into something for me. What's that? It's this dude just got out of jail for a murder charge. And he out? Yeah, I need you to look into how he get out. How long was he in for? 18 years, Norris said. If he served that much time, it could be possibility he got out early for good behavior. Did he do it? No, he covered it up for his ex. Ohhh, I see. If that's the case, most likely he got out because of a deal he made. If they knew he was innocent and was covering for somebody. I'm more than sure they offered him a deal and he took it. That's the only way I can see him getting out after serving 18 years for a crime he didn't committee. He had to have made some type of deal to turn in the person that actually did it. What else you know? He got this parole officer that got him a job, gave him some money to get on his feet, and wiped his record clean. Aw yeah, he got somebody that got some real power to make that happen. Either he got in good with a judge or he got a lawyer on his side that got some real juice around here. If they agreed to let him out early and they offered to wipe his record clean. He promised to turn in the person that really did it. That's the only way I can see it happening, Steve said. Can you look into it? I can, but im telling you now. If it's a dirty deal behind it, it won't be easy looking into it. Whoever behind it got it covered enough for it to be impossible to find. Just do what you can, Norris said. What's his name? Not sure about his last name, but his name Vince. You know his birthday? I don't. What about when he was arrested or when he was released? Naw, I don't know none of that. Well I can't look into it if I only have his first name. Where did this happen? What you mean? Like what city did the murder happen in. Shit, im not sure. It happened years ago, Norris said. I need something to work with here Norris. I can't ask for this information without getting caught up in it. Do you know what he look like? He about 6'2, dark skin, no tattoos that I know of, and brown eyes. That's not much I can work with, Steve said. He was dating this woman name Brooke Johnson. Maybe if you run her name, something associated with him will come up. It should, Steve said. I'll get right on it and get back to you.
