"The Exorcism" Chapter VIII

"Ed started the exorcism"

-Okay, let us pray.
God, whose nature is ever merciful and forgiving, accept our prayer that this servant of yours, bound by the fetters of sin, may be pardoned by your loving kindness.
Holy Lord, almighty Father, everlasting God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who once and for all consigned that fallen and apostate tyrant to the flames of hell, who sent your only-begotten son into the world to crush that roaring lion; hasten to our call for help and snatch from ruination and from the clutches of noonday devil this human being made in your image and likeness.

"Ed threw holy water in the sign of a cross on Carolyn. Carolyn started to shake and the water corroded straight through the shirt she was wearing. She screamed. Drew was still searching for April, when he got to the kitchen he could hear her cry from under the floor"

-April! April is it you?!

-Yeah.

-I'm coming down! I just have to find something to break the floor!

"Ed continued"

-Strike terror, Lord, into the beast now laying waste your vineyard. Fill your servants with courage to fight manfully against that reprobate dragon, lest he despise those who put their trust in you, and say with Pharaoh of old: "I know not God, nor will I set Israel free." Let your mighty hand cast him out of your servant, Carolyn, so he may no longer hold captive this person whom it pleased you to make in your image, and to redeem through your son; who lives and reigns

with you, in the unity, Amen.

"Horrible sounds came from under the sheet that they had tied around Carolyn. She started to vomit blood. Even if the sheet was covering her face they could see the clean, white sheet turning into a rose red colour. A big bookcase stopped Ed from continuing the exorcism. It fell down and should have killed Ed if he didn't jump out of the way. Ed said..."

-It doesn't want us to continue.

"Brad was scared, and said..."

-Ed, we should stop!

-We can't stop now! It will kill her if we do!

"He continued"

-I command you, unclean spirit, whoever you are, along with all your minions now attacking this servant of God, by the mysteries of the incarnation, passion, resurrection, and ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ, by the descent of the Holy Spirit, by the coming of our Lord for judgement, that you tell me by some sign your name, and the day and hour of your departure. I command you, moreover, to obey me to the letter, I who am a minister of God despite my unworthiness; nor shall you be emboldened to harm in any way this creature of God, or the bystanders, or any of their..."

"Ed stopped reading when he saw the chair Carolyn was sitting in, slowly flew up in the air and stood still. Roger got scared and told Ed..."

-Please! Ed, stop! I can't loose her!

-I can't! If I stop she'll die, if I continue she may survive!

"Ed continued..."

-Possessions, they shall all lay their..."

"Ed stopped reading, they heard Drew screaming..."

-I found her! I found April! She's under the kitchen floor in the basement!

"Immediately, the chair fell down and the rope broke. Carolyn/Bathseba, heard what Drew said and and because off her possession (Possess the mother to kill the child) and because they already are in the basement she took quickly out their grasp and found a small way in to the little tunnel from the basement to the kitchen, she even had time to take the scissor. April was still stuck under the floor because the hole Drew made in the floor wasn't big enough. They all tried to stop Carolyn but she was way to fast. Ed and Brad were to slow to stop her. Carolyn reached April and was just about to kill her with the scissor when Lorraine put her hand on Carolyn's head. A light beamed into the hole and Lorraine continued the exorcism with her own words..."

-Carolyn! Remember when you showed me that picture when you were on the beach with Roger and the kids. You told me that was the happiest day of your life! You told me that you've never seen the kids so happy and you said, that, Cindy fell backwards down in the water and got her dress all wet, and April who wanted to help her but fell into the water too. Remember how fun you had! And Roger who grilled hot dogs and meat. He even burned the sides because he was to busy playing with the kids that he totally forgot!

"Carolyn started to cry, she remembered all the wonderful memories with her family. She looked at the scissor and April who sat in her knee, terrified of what Carolyn was going to do. Carolyn threw away the scissor and hugged April, she said..."

-I'm so sorry April! I didn't mean to! Mommy loves you!

"The curse was gone, so was Bathsheba and the rest of the spirits. Carolyn and Roger thanked Ed and Lorraine for their help. The kids were happy again and nothing could hurt them anymore."
