" no, kurt! your little band of sunnyvale followers are chasing her."
"look, frell. do you know how much shit ziggy berman has done to this camp? whatever happened, she deserved it." kurt shouted, pointing down at the shorter girl.
"so? she's in trouble, kurt! they were chasing her, screaming that she stole their money, which she didn't! isn't it your duty or some shit to protect campers?" avery argued.
"hey! what's going on here?" nick goode interrupted, stepping in between the two.
"ziggy is in trouble, and kurt doesn't give a shit!" avery exclaimed, lunging at the blonde.
"you keep her away from me, nick! you know how i get with shadysiders." kurt said.
"can we just go find her? give avery some peace of mind." nick proposed, looking between the two of them.
"fine, if it's that important." kurt complained, putting his arm out as a way to say 'lead the way'.
"i swear to god, kurt, if she's hurt when we get there, i'm beating your ass." avery claimed, sending him a glare as she walked off.
"god, she may be a bitch. but, she's got a nice ass." kurt whispered to nick as they trailed a few feet away from her.
"that's a camper, kurt." nick muttered in confusion.
"so, don't act like you don't have the hots for ziggy. that's the only reason you stuck up for avery." kurt replied before running to catch up with the dark-haired girl. "why are you so worried about berman, avery?"
"because she's my best friend, asshole." avery replied, glaring over at the blonde as they trekked through the woods.
"do you know what happened, what made them all chase her?" kurt asked, showing faux concern as he looked down the sixteen-year old's tank-top.
the girl sighed, glancing up at him. "we were walking by their cabin, and the girls all ran out screaming that ziggy took their money. so, she took off."
"do you know why they did that?" he questioned, his eyes trained on her chest.
"because they're assholes." avery muttered, walking faster as a way to get away with him.
"that kind of language is unnecessary." kurt shouted as he started off in a jog, catching up with the girl.
"hey! stop it, right now!" avery called out, quickening her pace as she spotted the three girls and will goode surrounding the red head that was tied to the tree.
