I woke up to my alarm going off for me to start school like normal, I had completely forgotten everything that had happened yesterday. After around 10min of going through my social media like normal, I remembered. I jumped out of bed, got dressed and quickly got something to eat, hoping that I would see one of the boys if they are awake.
Luckily Daveed was outside on the phone, I was guessing it was something to do with work so I let him be and went back into my room, but kept the door open so they would know I was awake. There wasn't going to be any school today because of the lockdown and my school had not sent out anything yet.
It had been around half an hour since I woke up and one of the boys finally managed to figure out that I was awake.
"Hey Jess," Daveed said knocking on my door even though it was already open.
"Hey Daveed, you ok?" I asked him, I was guessing that Anthony was still asleep.
"Yeah, just been a busy morning already, the girls should be landing in about two hours. Can you ask your parents if they can drive us to the airport and back?" He asked me sitting on the bed, still having some distance between us. "Anthony should be getting up soon, man that guy can sleep."
"My mum should be up in around 10min to get ready to take us. Did you sleep ok?" I asked him
I was worried about Daveed, he had freaked out completely yesterday but hopefully with Emmy around he would be calmer. I would probably be completely starstruck with all four of them staying in my house, and I was getting back into being obsessed with umbrella academy, because of s3 coming out soon.
"Not amazing, but I did a bit. The timezones are a little weird so I think that's why. You don't have to worry about me, but thanks though." Daveed responded, I wasn't completely convinced yet but I dropped it for now.
"Yeah, I'm going to worry about you anyway, I know that it's hard being here especially because it's not really the most interesting city ever but you'll get used to it, and Emmy and Jazzy are coming today so that will be exciting right?" I changed the subject quickly so it wouldn't be too awkward.
"Hopefully when they get here it will feel a bit more normal. Hey, can I just stay in here for now, like wait on the couch for Ant to get up, it feels a little more homie and natural in here than in the guest room?" He asked while getting his phone out to check the time.
"Um, yeah sure if you want you can use the throw blanket on the bed. Should we maybe go check if Anthony is awake, or wake him up?" I asked, I wasn't sure if he did this normally or not but it was less lonely with Daveed in here.
After 5 minutes Anthony pocked his head into the door, realising that we were both in here.
"Hey Anthony, you slept ok?" I asked him the same question, Anthony was calmer about everything than Daveed but he freaked out a bit yesterday, so I wasn't sure if he was ok or not.
"Hey, um yeah thanks again for letting us stay here, means a lot. So you guys just hanging without me or something?" Anthony questioned us.
"Ant you know you were asleep, right? You can join us though." Daveed laughed at him, I loved their friendship it was amazing.
"Ugh fine yes I was asleep but still, family bonding time! So what we doing?" Anthony asked us.
"We are kinda just going on our phones right now, but I need to see if my mum is awake yet so she can take us to the airport, we will need to get masks on the way though unless somehow you guys have already," I said
"I think we got some Hamilton masks because we needed them on the plane, I think we have some extras for you and your mum if you want," Anthony said excitedly while sitting down next to me on my bed.
