(still a lil deathy but no one dies yet)

I couldn't stop crying, I wanted to just be fine and having a good time with all of them. I was worried about my parents, the lady on the phone didn't tell me basically anything which scared me.

I was sitting in between Daveed and Jazzy in the car, they were both giving me hugs and reassuring me that everything would be ok and Anthony and Emmy were trying to take my mind off of it by talking but it didn't work that well. The drive to the hospital was only 20min but it felt like forever, I didn't know what I would do once I see them but I had to.

We walked into the hospital to the reception "Um I'm looking for Allan and Mandy Miller, I'm their daughter." I said quickly, holding onto Daveed for support.

"They are in room 105, third floor, when you get up there ask the reception what happened and if you can see your parents ok? I'm sorry about them hun." The receptionist told me.

I was still crying a bit but not as much as before luckily. Daveed wouldn't leave my side which was nice but I knew that when we get in the room I would probably want to be with them alone so hopefully he gave me my space then. They all kept giving me hugs and reassuring smiles while we were going up to the third floor.

"Um, I'm looking for room 105, Allan and Mandy Miller? I'm their daughter." I told the person at the reception quickly.

"So your parents were in a big accident ok, they both sustained head injuries and broken bones through their bodies. I'm sorry to say this but they are both in comas from the accident and are not stable yet. We don't know how long they will be in comas for, is there anyone who can take care of you for the time being." The lady was telling me, I could only take in a bit of the information but luckily the others were listening as well if I missed anything.

I hadn't thought of what would happen to me if something happened to my parents, all my grandparents died years ago and both my parents were only Childs. Then Daveed said something unexpected.

"The four of us have been staying with Jess and her parents for the past week, we could take care of her if there is no family that could take her in." He said, all of us looked very surprised at what he said but I understood that it was what made the most sense.

"Are you ok with that honey?" the lady asked me.

"Um yeah that should be fine thanks. So when can I see my parents?" I asked, not knowing how this worked.

"You can go see them in a minute, can we please get contact information for all five of you please, if you are taking care of her while in this situation. When you have finished, I'll show you to their room." The lady told us while handing us forms which we had to fill out.

She took us over to the room, I stayed with Daveed the whole time shaking. As the door opened I started bawling my eyes out when I saw my parent's lifeless bodies. We walked in and I stood between both my parents.

"Mum, dad, I'm so sorry, please don't leave me, can we just go home and be a normal family again? I love you both so much, if you can hear me please don't ever forget that I love you, I really do." I couldn't say anymore.

I was about to fall to the ground in tears but I felt someone catch me, I didn't even look to see who it was when they engulfed me into a huge hug. I soon realised that it was Anthony and we were being joined my Jazzy and Emmy, I wasn't sure where Daveed went but it didn't matter to me right now, all that mattered was my parents at that moment.

DAVEED'S POV

While Jess was talking to her parents, I slipped outside to talk to the nurse that was talking to us.

"So, how does this whole thing work? Like with Jess' parents and with her as well, what will happen to her if something happens to her parents?" I asked the nurse.

"If Miss Miller doesn't have any living family left then she would most likely be put into the foster system, unless someone close to Jessica and their family steps up and adopts her. Her parents will be here until they wake up or the worse option happens." She told me.

I felt so sorry that Jess had to go through all of this, I knew she was already dealing with personal things in her mind and then this happens just when she is happy now. I nodded and thanked the nurse and went back inside the room to find them all having a group hug around Jess without me, I quickly joined them.

We had been at the hospital for hours now and it was almost 6:00pm, I knew that we would have to be going back home soon. I hoped that Jess would be ok leaving her parents here, but if she wanted to stay I would be staying with her no matter what.

"Jess, we have to go soon ok? If you want to stay here overnight I'll stay with you but the others are going to leave soon ok?" I gently shook Jess awake since she had fallen asleep from crying and was leaning on my shoulder.

"We can go home, I just don't really want to leave them but I know I have to." She said, looking as if she is about to start crying again.

"We can come back whenever you want to see them, but if you want to stay I will stay with you so you aren't alone, the others will go home though." I said gently hugging her.

"I wanna go home." She said standing up with me and gave her parents a kiss on their forehead each.

We walked out the building slowly, the drive home was quiet. I was driving so Jess was in between Jas and Ant, she had fallen asleep again leaning on Anthony. Once we got home none of us wanted to wake her up so I carried her inside and tucked her in. I didn't want to leave her alone so I sat down on her couch, I must have also fallen asleep for a bit but when I woke up again I went into the living room to find everyone there.

"Hey guys, what's up?" I said to the group.

"We need to figure out what happens to Jess if her parents, you know don't make it out of their comas, she doesn't have any other family besides them." Jazzy said, getting straight to the point, "Also we need to get some dinner"

"We have all talked about it and even if we can go back home we need to stay with her right now, if we do go back she is gonna have to stay with one of us," Anthony joined in.

"I'll go order some pizza," Emmy said and got up to grab her phone from the other room.

"So me and Anthony have been talking about it and, we have seen how close you and Jess have become, if something happens we think you and Emmy should take her," Jazzy said.

"Only if she wants to though, I'm sure she will but she needs to be ok with leaving." Anthony added as Emmy came back into the room.

"Yeah it makes sense I guess, but let's just wait and see what happens and maybe talk to her about it if it gets to that." I said, giving Emmy a hug as she sat down guessing that she already knew about this conversation.

"So we good with taking her in if stuff goes wrong?" Emmy asked all of us but aimed it mainly at me.

"Yeah, we good with that." I smiled at her and gave her a quick kiss.

There was a knock at the door shortly after meaning the pizza was here. We all ate talking about different things and avoiding the subject of Jess's parents so we could stop thinking about everything that happened today. I hoped that they would be ok, but if not I was going to do everything I could to make sure Jess was happy.
