Lockdown day 8

It had now been a week since I met Jazzy, Anthony, Daveed and Emmy and they had already become my family basically. I knew that we were going to go see my parents today and I had already finished all my school work for the week because there wasn't much to do.

My parents had now been in comas for four days now and still weren't stable, as it started getting closer to a week I kept wondering what would happen to me if something happened. I didn't want to be a burden to Jazzy, Daveed, Anthony or Emmy and I definitely didn't want to have to chose between the couples. I wondered if they had talked about it at all as well because they knew I didn't have any family besides my parents.

This morning everyone had press for Hamilton and tua for Emmy, Jazzy was in my room and everyone else was scattered around the house so it wouldn't echo, luckily a few of the rooms, including my room is soundproof. I was sitting in the corner of my room, looking through my Hamilton book so I wouldn't make noise in the background.

I could hear that Lin, Chris, Pippa, Groffsauce, Renee and Oak were all on the zoom along with Daveed and Anthony from the other room. At the end of the interview they all ended up having conversations with each other still on the zoom but it had finished recording.

I just so happened to sneeze while they were talking at the end and I immediately felt embarrassed by it, Jazzy turned around to say bless you like normal, Anthony and Daveed knew that it would have been me so they didn't question it but Lin also noticed.

"Jas who's with you there?" Lin asked laughing questionably since Anthony and Daveed were on the zoom and they had mentioned before that Emmy also had one on right now.

I got a message quickly after he said that from Anthony,

(⭐︎Anthony⭐︎) The interviewer is gone, it's just the cast now. You don't have to be on for very long just maybe say hi.

(Me) Ok see ya in a sec

Jazzy was looking at me expectantly as I put my book down and sat next to her.

"Everyone, this is Jess. Anthony, Daveed, Emmy and I are all staying with her right now," Jazzy introduced me.

"Umm, hi," I looked at Jazzy for help because I didn't know what to do.

"Omg she's so cute, wait are you all still in Australia?" Pippa said, and I started looking down at my phone hoping that I don't look too awkward.

(✨Daveed✨) Do you wanna come over to my room?

(Me) Sure, do I look weird and awkward?

(✨Daveed✨) Maybe just a little lol

"I'm gonna go over to Daveed, I'll be back soon," I whispered to Jazzy.

"Ok, have fun," She said to me and I left the room, bringing my phone and book with me. "Daveed you just took her from me!" She said to the screen as I closed the door behind me.

"Hey Daveed," I said sitting down on the side.

"Hey J, ok I am on mute for a second. So same reason as when you met Jas and Emmy?" He asked me referring to me being quiet again.

"Kinda, also I don't know what to say," I explained.

"Just be yourself, if you wanna come back in your welcome too but you can also stay there," Daveed encouraged.

"I think I can try but I may be quiet, still," I decided, sitting next to him at the desk but also opening my Hamilton book to still read.

They continued talking, I was quiet the whole time besides saying something if one of them asked me. I also ended up asking a few things if I saw something in the book to Lin and occasionally to the others. Whenever someone talked to me Daveed gave me a small encouraging side hug to get me to answer them.

People started leaving the call around 12 to get onto other ones, I knew that Anthony had an ith one after this one but the others didn't have any others. It was raining again so we couldn't do much and I knew that I needed to see my parents today but I didn't really want any of them driving in it still but Daveed said that he could anyway.

After lunch (so around 2pm) we left to go see them and as I predicted it was crazy on the roads but we were all fine. We stayed at the hospital for two hours, until everyone started to get bored and tired and so went out for dinner for once at an Italian place.

It was nice actually eating being out now since only a few places were still open but we only stayed for an hour because I needed to feed the dogs still and it was already 6:30 now. Like normal we all watched a movie, this time Avengers Infinity War and we were going to watch Endgame tomorrow night.

I was leaning against Anthony and slightly on Jazzy because I was in the middle of them. I ended up falling asleep during the movie somehow and I wasn't sure if any of them realised or not until the end of the movie.

DAVEED'S POV

We were up to the part of the movie where they are back in Wakanda and Steve is reunited with Bucky, when I noticed that Jess had fallen asleep leaning on Anthony and Jazzy.

"Kids asleep," Anthony said quietly noticing that I saw her, "I don't mind if she stays here, your call man, someone gotta carry her into bed though."

"She can stay there for now I guess, the movie doesn't have much left," I said.

We kept watching the movie, it was really good even though I had watched it before. I ended up carrying Jess back to bed and tucked her in like normal. We all had Hamilton press again tomorrow but we were singing this time so it was all four of us, I knew that Jess would be sitting on the side again but she seemed fine with it today so it should be fine.

I tucked her in, said goodnight, and closed the door behind me on my way out.
