Today it's saturday and i barely slept. Again. My dad and Lucy went on a date. My dad said they will be home late. Not like that is something new to me.
It was already in the afternoon and i got text messages from Louis and Bryce wishing Lira and i goodluck. I geuss we will need it.
We realize we are taking a big risk but i geuss we will have to take one for this.
Lira also told Alice and Caleb about our theory and i was so scared. Not that i don't trust them, but if they don't believe us it just takes a second to snitch on us. Luckily they actually thought something wasn't right either. They are in with our plan too now even though it's me and Lira taking the risk tonight.
The sun is already going under and i need to calm myself down from the nerves coming from my body. I already changed into a pair of black leggings with a black hoodie. I made food and i'm now doing dishes while waiting until it's time.
When after a while staring outside, watching the sky turn black and the lights from houses turn off i hear my phone ring. I look at my phone and see a text message from Lira.
Lira: Ready?
I looked back out the window hoping for the best and took a deep breath. In and out.
Kaya: I'm leaving right know.
I turn the lights off shuting the door and locking it. I pulled the hood of my hoodie over my head and started walking. I reach the forest and look around for Lira. I don't see her yet so i go deeper in the forest behind a tree. I see her walking to the forest and when she is close i wave my hand. She runs the last feet towards me and hugs me.
"I am so scared, Kaya." She whispers in my ear. "If it goes wrong, we are sinking deeper in our grave than the titanic in the sea." I chukkle trying to calm my own nerves. "It won't go wrong." I pull back and she takes my hand. "Let's do this." She says and i nod.
Together we walk through the forest and when we see the houses appear we stay behind the trees. We walk more to the side of the sea. More to Miles' house. When i recognize the house i brought Eva too, i stoped. Lira did the same stopping right behind me.
"There it is." I say not taking my eyes of off the house. I hear Lira's shaky breath and i step out behind of the trees. Lira does the same and togheter we sneak to the house trying to stay out of the street lights. When we reach the house we made it too a side wall were a big window is. I look inside hiding as much as possible. I see Noah, Miles and his mom watching tv togheter.
I feel almost bad for disturbing them. But then i remind myself i'm doing this for them. I wish i had family time like this.
I looked back at Lira and signed for us to go to the front door. "Stay here until i call you out okay?" I whispered to Lira and she nodded. She whispered a "Be carefull." and i dissapeared from where i was standing. I slowly make my way to the front of the house and when i reach the door. I look around. Nobody is on the streets which gives me a safer feeling.
