I wake up by the sun shining in my eyes. I open my eyes but close them again when the it's too bright. I'm happy i was able to sleep the last hours without a nightmare.
I had on about leader Francis and one about my dad and suprisingly my mom was in one of them too.
When i open my eyes again i try to get out of bed, but i get stopped by Miles' arm. He's arm is all around my waist. I sight slowly. I look back at him sleeping peacefully. He's long black hair is in front of his eyes and for some reason i smile.
I tickle him not to hard on his neck and my plan works when his arm lifts from my waist and i gently sneak out of his room.
I walk in the living room and what i didn't expect was seeing Lira already there. "Morning." She says when she sees me. Sandra turns and smiles kindly at me. "Goodmorning." I tell them both.
"KAYA!" I hear a high pitch voice yell. When i turn towards the noice Eva is jumping with her arms around me. "Hi, it's good to see you again." I say chuckling.
I sit down and start eating. "Why are you up so early?" I asked Lira. "Nightmares. You?" "The same."
Sandra was telling us stories about Miles and Eva when they were younger. We laughed uncontrollably when she told us that Miles locked Eva up in the kitchen cabinet because she was eating his candy.
Miles and Noah joined us a couple minutes later. Miles tried to make her stop with the stories but she just continued now also telling stories about Noah.
Just when she ended the story where Noah almost got himself killed by a wolf, the phone rang. Sandra picked up and her face went from smiling to serious a little to quickly not to scare me. She mumbled only a 'okay' and put down the phone.
"Mom, what is it?" Miles asked. She slowly looked up. "We have to go to Jacob's house, now. I'll explain in the car." She snatches her car keys out of her bag and runs towards Eva picking her up and sprints to the car. Without a doubt we all sprint after her. As soon as we got in the car she drove off.
"What is happening?" Lira's voice was full of fear. "Jacob said leader Francis found out and he suspects he's coming for you guys."
I froze not able to speak. When i got me senses back i turned to Lira and her eyes were in complete fear as well as mine. "Don't worry. Jacob will protect you."
"I..i...what about the rest?" I hear myself ask. "They are coming too." She said not slowing down nor look anywhere else then the street.
We arrived and Sandra rushed us inside. The door from his office opened and everyone was already there. Alice jumped in and hugged both me and Lira.
"Okay, i just got a phone call. They're crossing the border." Leader Jacob says making me pull out of the hug. "What do you mean 'they'?" He looked at me and then i saw sadness in his eyes. Like he was sorry for me. "Francis. And your parents."
