I can't sleep at night. I can only think of what I just did. Levi may have kissed me back, but what did he really think of me? I can only hope he won't see me as a crazy woman. Well, I guess I am a bit crazy.

I hug my pillow. The only thing I want is to kiss him again. My mind is full with the sensation. I just hope Levi won't reject or ignore me for the rest of his stay at Maria.

It's Sunday morning and Sasha and I will finally have our time in the springs, like I promised her. I have a quick breakfast and get a picnic basket and towels so we can go for a swim. I'm not sure if I'm ready to tell her what happened last night. But I feel I should tell someone just to not feel overwhelmed by it.

I'm almost ready when someone knocks on the door. I let my mother open it.

"Oh, mr. Ackerman! What brings you here so early in the morning?"

My body freezes. I hide in the kitchen, not sure why.

"I'm here to see Y/N. Is she home?"

I walk fast to the door, looking above my mother's shoulder. "Morning, Levi". I notice he doesn't have anything on him. My smile fades away, expecting he'd have flowers if he liked the bold move I made last night. My body starts shaking, afraid he might scold me.

"Would you like to come in?" Mother asks.

"No, I don't want to bother. Would you come with me, Y/N?"

I get out of the house and we walk to the street. My heart's a mess. And I can't read anything through his blank expression. I'm afraid he won't let me help with the case anymore.

"Levi, I-"

"I'm here to ask you out to dinner".

I let a deep breath escape my lungs. I smile at him, feeling so relieved, my heart fluttering with happiness. I was so scared he would reject me.

"Just the two of us" he continues. "Not work related. I mean, as I date. If you'd like, obviously-"

"Of course I would".

He gives me the tiniest grin. "I'll be here at 8, is that okay for you?"

"It's perfect".

Levi takes a few steps closer to me. Then grabs my hand and gives it a quick kiss. "I'll be seeing you, then".

"I look forward to it, Levi".

"You have a date?!" Sasha screams at my face. "With that weirdo?!"

"Don't call him that! I like him".

"Well, I'm not saying you should stop liking him, I'm just stating that he's a weirdo".

"Sasha, you are a weirdo!"

I push her off the cliff and she butt-dives. She returns to the surface spitting water: "That was low!"

I jump in the water after her, laughing. She tries to keep my head under water and we start a brutal fight like we did when we were kids. But we get tired easily.

"Are you sure we are grown-ups?" I ask her.

"I know me and Connie ain't". Sasha's smile and laughter stops abruptly.

"What is it, Sasha?" I ask, though I already know the answer.

"I don't want to get married, Y/N. Not yet".

"Does Connie know it?"

"He doesn't want to, either. You know we don't have secrets".

"Well, if you're on the same page, why would you need to marry?"
