The day after my family flood me with questions about my date with Levi. Even Julia comes home early in the morning, gossiping about how everyone in the city saw us walking together like a couple. And how I dared not to tell her first.

"He asked me out the same day, I barely had time to digest it".

"We should have him over soon if this is serious, Y/N". Father says. Mother is so happy to see me seeing someone, willingly, that has nothing bad to say about Levi.

I think fast: "Maybe it's too soon, father. He just started to court me". Levi's social skills are close to none. I assume he'd hate a family dinner like this, so I'll try to get him off the hook for some time.

"But we should know his intentions. I've heard he and Miss Zoe shouldn't stay much longer in town" Mother says.

This conversation starts making me nervous. I was trying to just enjoy my time with Levi, doing my best to not expect any proposal or anything like that. Might never happen.

"I know we've been hard on you, Y/N. We've been pressuring you". Father confesses. "This time, what I really want to know is: do you truly like him? Do you have feelings for him?"

My eyes widen with the question. I smile at my father: "I do like him. I truly do. You know I wouldn't accept someone if I didn't".

After breakfast, my sister rushes me to our - now just mine - room to talk about everything in private:

"Ok, you know I only care about one thing and our parents don't need to know: did he kiss you?"

I feel myself heating just thinking about his kisses.

"Actually, I kissed him".

"You kissed him first?"

I tell Julia everything she didn't yet know: how Levi saved me at least three times, and how what Armin told us made me snap and crash into his hotel room in the middle of the night so I could kiss him.

"For God's sake, Y/N, you are really head over heels for him".

"I... I really am".

"Hange, you are a womanizer, right?"

She walks to me so fast I'm afraid she may push me to the ground.

"Do you want to talk about ladies?!"

I sigh: "I should tell you before you know from someone else. I've officially started courting Y/N".

"Levi! Oh my God!"

She screams so loudly I can feel a headache coming. Armin opens the door, startled:

"I'm so sorry, I heard screams-"

"This four-eyed baka was being loud".

"Oh..."

Armin stares at me. His expression is somewhat troubled. He opens his mouth to say something, but clearly gives up.

"Do you need anything, Armin?"

He's hesitating. "No, mr. Ackerman. Miss Hange, Excuse me-"

He leaves the office. Something is clearly off. I'll keep an eye on him.

Hange grabs my hands: "So, Levi, my lovey dovey sweet man, you wanted to talk about your girlfriend?"

"If you keep sounding ridiculous I won't say anything else". But the thought that I actually have a girlfriend that I like so much makes my chest heat. Right where I keep the tissue she made me in my suit. Hange crosses her arms, waiting for me. "Right. I want to know what kind of presents I should give her. I can't keep just buying her flowers and that's the only thing I know how to pick".
