Part 25 - Old Stone Wall

"Do you think John B will be okay?" Brielle asked. Now her and the other Pogues were at her house, sitting in the living room.

"I hope so." Kiara replied holding her head in her hands.

"He'll be alright, he's John B." JJ assured.

"Where even were you two when that happened?" Pope asked, looking at the two teens sitting next to each other.

"Uh....we were looking at the lightning outside." Brielle replied, and JJ nodded in agreement. "The weather was pretty crazy, so...."

"Well, you could've told us, we wouldn't have to stay in the hot-ass car by ourselves." Kiara said.

"We didn't say you couldn't come." JJ replied.

"True, I guess." Kiara said.

"I'm gonna make some food, you guys want any?" Brielle asked standing up.

"Yeah, sure." The teens all replied.

"Okay." Brielle said, and walked over to the kitchen, opening the cabinet.

Time Skip

"I'm sorry, did I hear that correctly? You're staying where?" Kiara asked. John B had broken his wrist and had a concussion, and apparently Ward got the DSC off his back, by letting him stay with the Cameron's.

"Tannyhill." John B replied leaning on the Wrecks bar.

"So now you're living with Sarah Cameron?" Kiara asked.

"Okay, look, the only reason I'm living there is because her dad bailed me out, right?" John B replied, walking over to the Pogues who were sitting down at a table. "And it's way better than foster care, which, by the way, is where I was about to go if Ward didn't-"

"Hey, so do you have a membership to the clubs now?" Pope asked.

"I don't know, Pope." John B sighed.

"What about those little golf carts they drive around? You get one of them?" JJ asked.

"Are you getting golf lessons?" Brielle asked.

"Does it come with a sweater-vest, or do you have to buy one of your own?" Pope asked.

"Look, you promised." Kiara sighed. "You said you weren't with her."

"Bro, just own it. She got you." JJ said.

"You're the one to talk, blondie." Brielle said walking past him.

"Shh." JJ chuckled with a finger over his mouth.

"Look, if you wanna hang out with her, that's fine." Kiara said. "But I'm letting you know now that I'm not doing anything with Sarah."

"Do you guys see her here?" John B asked. "No. Right, okay. A little focus would be fantastic."

No response.

"We've got the map, right?" John B asked.

"Well, it's all out of whack 'cause the guy was ganja'd when he drew it." JJ replied.

"It's 'cause the coast has changed over the years." Brielle said, and JJ gave her a sarcastic surprised look, and she rolled her eyes.

"So we just have to look for landmarks that haven't changed." Pope said.

"What about the old forts?" John B asked.

"Battery Jasper." Kiara replied, and pointed to it on the map.

Time Skip

The crew was on top of the old beaten down stone walls JJ, John B, and Brielle had been in earlier looking out to the water. "Okay, we're in Battery, right here." Pope said looking at the map. "So, if this is parcel nine, then it's somewhere northeast of here."
