"Violet, is this a proven fact or an assumption based off of evidence."

"hey!" she yelled gathering the attention of the room, "I've spoken to Phil and he believes I may be right, it's something worth looking into."

There was a moment of silence when she paused, considering her next words. "you don't have too join me but Phil suggested I let you guys make that decision. I'll be perfectly fine alone."

Seeing North prepare to argue she spoke again, "really, I'm a big girl, I can cope." she muttered dryly.

Axel spoke up this time, "it's not that we don't believe you, Darl, it's that we need to know exactly what you thinks going on. We trust you.", he reassured.

She liked axel. A man of few words but damn, what he did say meant the goddamn world.

"okay, academy members are the ones being targeted. I know others have been attacked but what are the chances that 55% of victims are related to the academy directly? There rest are most likely cover ups. And Jessica, they hit us right where it hurts just as we were close to something, I don't know what but we were so close to discovering something."

"okay," Mr bla- Owen sighed "now I suppose we should make a plan to deal with this. First we need to figure out where Jessica is. Mr Lee, you are sidelined for now, until we know more."

Dakota cut in, preparing to argue.

"its not permanent, just until we are able to get grounds on what needs to be done. Mr henshaw, could you please try and track Jessica's last location, Mr Taylor Sr, please go check for anything that may help in the Lee's House. Calenders, notes, reminders as to who she may have been meeting. The rest of us will prepare equipment for when you are finished."

The men had begun working as violet typed on a borrowed laptop.

She was talking to herself in greek and staring at Marc who sat opposite her.

" Και μια φορά, είχα ένα ψάρι που το έλεγαν shelly αλλά έφυγε όταν ήμουν εννέα ετών "

(And one time, I had a fish called shelly but she ran away when I was nine)

She could have laughed at the poorly hidden frightened look on the man's face as she spoke seriously to him.

North walked in and stopped when he noticed the other man's apprehension and violet talking about.. Goldfish?

"Γιατί τον κοιτάς κατάματa?"

(why are you glaring at him?)

"Δεν ξέρω, έχει πλάκα;  Κάντο κι εσύ!" she grumbled, still looking at Marc. Her hands worked fast across the keyboard, glancing towards the screen every few seconds.

(I don't know, it's fun? You do it too!)

" ναι κυρία μου" he looked at Marc as he said this.

(yes ma'am)

Marc looked between the pair, confused.

As he was about to ask what was going on, violet's eyes went wide. Luke ran in, "I found a note, she was meeting up with someone called.."

"Kayli"

"Kayli" Violet whispered as he said her name.

She stood abruptly and asked where Owen was, rushing to find him. The three were left glancing at one another, stuck in the dark get again.
