Axel coughed harshly into his hand. The noise interrupted the loud rumble of voices running through the rooms.

Glares were shared in the silence, disagreements running below the surface.

Violet stood in the corner, well-concealed concern painting her face. It seemed as though she'd puzzled the pieces together as to who kayli was and why they were defensive.

He was distraught, though they didn't work out, he felt what could only be described as love towards her. Sure, he'd never felt it elsewhere but it had to have been. She was their girlfriend, he trusted her with so much.

And to discover the truth was, simply put, soul-destroying.

After they had revealed that Kayli was involved, their teams had been sent into a spiral of despair. The Blackbournes' had heard of their past lover, having much sympathy for the disastrous end of relationship. The Tomas' recognising her name, heartbreak registering once again.

Violet had disappeared during the ordeal, wondering to her 'cave' of sorts. Her safe space to let her brain run free.

She felt awful for both teams, but she didn't honestly know how to love forwards from this. It was a difficult position.

She could be patient and wait for this team to be ready to help her but were they too attached to help? They seemed far too close to this for comfort and chances were they'd jeopardise it all.

And right now she couldn't afford distractions.
As valuable as they may be to her, she had no time.

A 17 year olds life was at stake and there was little they'd be able to help it. She'd act solo for a while, find jessica and maybe be able to work with them to solve everything.

With that in mind, she silently slipped towards the nearest exit.
