When Violet had walked out of the room earlier, he understood why. She was used to working alone and the bomb that they all knew Kayli, some more than others, must have been tricky to hear.

It was about two hours later when she called him, great timing because they were wondering if she'd found anything that we hadn't. Although they were seasoned academy members this had left us more than frazzled. It was too personal and he was glad Violet was here to regulate them all because she wasn't as close to this case as we were by any means.

Kota and Erica sat together as Kota went through the footage for the 100th time trying to find what he'd missed.

Each one of the guys tuned in when Sean answered the phone and rambled, but he froze when she yelled his name and began to speak, "Sean, I need you to meet me at the front of the academy building, hospital side, I have her and she's okay. Can you also reserve an interrogation room for me please sweetcheeks?"

As far as any of the guys knew she was a few door down from them, so why the hell was she saying she'd found Jessica.

After the ruckus had calmed, Owen snatched his phone and began to speak with an almost unnoticeable shake to his voice, "Miss Violet, are you sure you have Jessica with you right now, is she okay? Can we speak to her?"

As he spoke, kota stared at the phone with a look akin to desperation and relief.

"Hi Owen, yes she's okay, very minor wounds, but she's resting in my passenger seat so no talking I'm afraid. I'm about 10 minutes out from the hospital side if you guys want to wait for me there. Unfortunately I have a rather unpleasant addition with me so prepare for her too please. Goodbye."

They all sat for a moment before rushing into action, Owen tossed Sean his phone before grabbing his jacket and opening the door gesturing for his team to follow.

The Tomas readied themselves too, from the sounds of it they might have to face Kayli sooner than they thought and they were not looking forward to it whatsoever.
