Seungmin woke up the next day still slightly tired. He stretched as the dim light came through his light blue curtains. He checked the time, 12 o'clock. He rolled over not wanting to get up. Did I oversleep that much? How's that even possible?... He always woke up late on weekends, but never this late.
"damn it..." he mumbled under his breath, do I have to get up? nothings even happening today. Oh shit. He suddenly remembered the party. Both nervous and excited, he sat up immediately, 9 hours. Am I prepared?... He stood up and went to take a shower, throwing on a simple outfit afterwards, he also picked an outfit for the party. After brushing his teeth, he headed downstairs to eat and talk to his parents.
"Good morning... or should I say good afternoon" his mom said looking at him annoyed.
"Sorry, I've had a lack sleep this past week."
"That's okay... do you want pancakes?" she held up a bowl of her homemade pancake batter.
"Of course, how could I pass them up." he said smiling, "You know I can't say no to pancakes."
"I know, you've loved them your whole life." she said with a slight smile on her face.
After a couple minutes of silence, his mom had finished the pancakes and stacked them neatly on a plate before handing them to her son. Seungmin smiled instantly picking up his utensils stopping right before cutting into the warm pancakes. She looked at him confused. He looked up with a hopeful look.
"I know I never ask you about this stuff, but can I go to my friends house tonight?"
His mom smiled at him, good sign.
"Of course." she said, a friend? The last time he talked about a "friend" of his was 3rd grade...
"Really!?"
"Yes really, just don't get in trouble and be back here by 3pm tomorrow." She said as she watched the boy happily smile eating the rest of his pancake.
"Your really great Mom..." He smiled, taking the first bite of the fluffy pancakes, "I have to tutor Jisung tomorrow at 10... I'll come home after I finish."
"Sounds good Min... love you." she said smiling as she walked to the sink so she could clean the dirty pancake batter bowl.
"I love you too Mom." Seungmin said happily as he ate the rest of his pancakes.

Hyunjin woke up the next morning nervous as ever, today's the day. Can I do it? It's now or never. He got out of bed and went straight downstairs so he could get breakfast, his mind still focused on one thing: Seungmin.
Hyunjin was nervous, a feeling he wasn't used too. He had been interested in Seungmin for a while... 3 months to be exact. It was very sudden, he happened to notice him one day in his trigonometry class... he had fallen asleep during class. Throughout that week he had realized that they actually had very similar schedules. He found out that he talked to Jisung, so he asked about him. He had learned a lot about him through Jisung. He was incredibly sarcastic and smart, he was a determined kid who tried to keep to himself, and he hated school with a passion due to his friend. His friends. It pained Hyunjin to think about. He shook away the negative thoughts.
Hyunjin had never actually talked to him. There was 3 reasons why. First of all, he was too nervous. Second, he was still closeted to most people. Only a couple of his close friends new that he was gay. He didn't want to know what would happen if he came out. He already pissed of too many girls because he rejected them. Third, he didn't know Seungmin's sexuality. He hoped that he was in someway attracted to guys, but there was always the possibility that he wasn't. He wanted to save himself from that possible embarrassment at all costs.
