What is this feeling... surely I don't like him right? right?

Seungmin rested his face on his steering wheel; he was still parallel parked on the road beside the cafe. His heart continued to race as he looked up and stared through the skylight of his car. The sky was oddly clear for the middle of Seoul.

I can't like him? How could I? I barely know him. What is there to like....

He saw Hyunjin exit the cafe out of his peripheral vision. He jerked his head away in an attempt to hide his face.

Why did I do that? Why am I still here? Is he walking home? Should I offer him a ride? Fuck. What am I even thinking?

He jerked his head back to see if Hyunjin had left his line of sight. He was gone.

Seungmin let out a big sigh.

"What's wrong with me?" He whispered to himself.

6:30am

Seungmin stretched at the sound of his alarm. He had slept awfully the night before.

Fuck... it's 6:30 already...

He reluctantly got out of bed to get ready for another long day of hiding in school. He grabbed a grey hoodie and his last pair of black jeans.

How much longer do I have to do this shit. I need to figure something out.

He glanced at his phone for any new messages.

Nothing.

He looked down at Hyunjins name.

Nothing.

He couldn't help but frown.

Was I expecting something or what? Am I disappointed?

He sighed as he slid on his shoes and tried to shake his thoughts. He waved bye to his mother as he headed out the door.

At least it's Friday.

The first 3 periods of his day had gone just like the rest of his week had. No one looked his way or even gave his name a second thought. The most interesting components of his day were the little waves he gave to Felix and Jisung throughout the halls.

He sighed as he sat down in his 4th-period history class.

Hyunjins in this class.

He closed his eyes and shook his head.

Jesus Seungmin stop thinking about him.

He glanced at Hyunjins empty seat.

He's not here yet...

Seungmin had learned all of the classes he and Hyunjin shared. Trigonometry, English, Chemistry, History, Anatomy, a study hall, and a lunch period. On top of that, he unintentionally learned all of his seat locations in those periods.

Seungmin sighed and opened his history notes to try and sidetrack himself from his own mind.

As the lesson was about to start, Seungmin glanced back to Hyunjins seat just to be met with an awkward half-second of eye contact with the long blonde-haired boy. He jerked his head away.

Holy fuck. Was he looking at me? No... no no. He doesn't even know about me. I must be imagining things... there's no possible way he was looking at me...
