"So wait let me get this straight-" Jeongin started as he shook his head with his eyes closed, Chan stared at the wall in front of him.

"Y- yo- you... s-slept with him? Kim Seungmin? Your crush." Chan cut Jeongin off, eyes widened.

"His crush?!" Jeongin's eyes widened as he gave his boyfriend a shocked yet confused glance.

"Well... let me explain.." Hyunjin stated, gesturing the others to calm down, "Yes. I did... but... I don't remember... well- except one thing but I'll get to that - he said he doesn't remember anything other than meeting at the party... which happens to be the problem." He finished quickly.

"What do you mean... problem?" Chan said curiously.

"Well... since he remembered meeting each other.. then of course he remembers when we introduced each other. So basically, he lied about his name... which I'm guessing he did last night too because that's the one thing I vividly remember."

"He lied about his name? Is that why you said Minseok?" Jeongjin replied.

Hyunjin shook his head up and down.

"It's kinda obvious that he doesn't want me to know who he is." Hyunjin looked down at his feet, "There's no other reason to lie about his name... he probably thinks I didn't know he exists."

"Well- are you gonna give up? You were the one scared to approach him right- but I think you have a chance now." Chan said, trying to cheer him up.

"No- I won't give up... but I don't know where to go from here. He ran out of the coffee shop we were at this morning because he was late to work... or something like that..."

"Wait- you guys went to a cafe this morning? Together?!" Jeongin replied cheerfully.

"Yes... but like I said he lied about his name... and where he lived... and the fact that he's going to school- God! Does he think I'm stupid!" Hyunjin exclaimed as he laid his head in his cupped hands.

"No... like you said... he probably thinks he's a no one and that a person like you wont acknowledge his existence... so he thought he could lie..." Chan said hoping to ease Hyunjin's frustration.

"What's that supposed to mean Chan! People like me- people like us? You see the way some our so-called friends treat him. Like shit. It makes me feel like shit too... but I don't know how to help... " Hyunjin replied holding back tears.

Jeongin sat there awkwardly. Are they fighting? Am I getting in the way? What do I do?...

"Hyunjin... listen." Chan pulled his hands away from his face, "If you want him. Go get him. Your overthinking. Have some faith in yourself... You may be popular but damn your self-confidence is lacking..."

Hyunjin took a deep breath. Trying to calm down by closing his eyes and focusing on the air his lungs.

He didn't know why he was so upset. He got like this sometimes. Why? I don't understand... is it like an anxiety attack? Stress? I mean that would make sense... from sports to friends to my mom to school and now to Seungmin... It's a lot to deal with...

"Your right. I should have more faith." Hyunjin said after he calmed down, "Oh and sorry Jeongin... that was uh- probably awkward..."

"Your good... you seem stressed. Maybe we should leave... so you can get some real sleep..." Jeongin suggested.

"Yeah that would probably be a good idea." Chan said, "besides you have to wake up early to go see your mom."

"Oh... I almost forgot about that... but yeah... thank you guys for coming- and uh listening to me.... and sorry again Jeongin..."

"It's alright- and no problem... I'm glad we could help." Jeongin replied.

"You are so sweet. Chan you got a keeper." Hyunjin glanced at Chan with a smile, "See you guys sometime soon... Good bye- and thank you again!!" Hyunjin continued, yelling as the couple approached the front door of the apartment.

Chan and Jeongin left. Hyunjin stood in silence. Left alone with his thoughts. Again. He still didn't know what to do- but he wanted to find out. He wanted to get him. He was too scared before, but Chan said he should gain confidence. He shouldn't be afraid.

Okay so where do I start?

Just as he sat down to think his phone rang. He reached into his pocket to grab his phone.

This is odd. I rarely get calls...

His puzzled look faded to an almost emotionless expression when he read the name on the screen.

Mom.

Seungmin focused on the road ahead of him while examining the crisp evening air. Although he said he was going to the store, he didn't have any specific place in mind. He just drove. Aimlessly.

There wasn't much on his mind anymore. He had already thought about everything that had happened that day for too long. He was already tolerant, already thoughtless, already empty. It wasn't a bad thing. Car rides always eased his mind. It was nice to take a mind break every now and then... it was like an escape from reality.

He sat in his car. Stopped at a red light. Not a clue in the world to where he was, or to as how long he had been driving. Snapping out of his dazed mindset, he checked the time.

Shit.

He had been driving for an hour. He's driven aimlessly multiple times before, but never for this long. He decided to drive to the nearest convenience store so he could quickly pick up some things before going home.

As he parked outside, he knew exactly what he needed; batteries for his project and coffee.

He ran into the store and immediately started looking for his wanted items. He found the battery shelf and grabbed two packs of triple A batteries. Then he headed straight for the coolers in the back of the store.

He smiled as he approached the coolers. Instantly eyeing the mocha iced coffee sitting in the middle fridge. He opened the door and reached down to grab the drink, he saw someone approach in his peripheral vision, not thinking much of it. Before he could look up a voice spoke.

"You must really like mocha Min.."

The voice sounded familiar. Almost as if he had heard it recently- but he completely forgot where. Clearly the person knew him, otherwise they wouldn't have said "Min".

Seungmin looked up.

oh. well. I didn't expect this.

He met eyes with a smiling Hwang Hyunjin.

Fuck.

~a/n~

I have a lot to say so I'm gonna try and write this short as possible. Sorry for the late/short chapter. I've been quite busy- whether that be with school/sports/personal issues/hoco plans/etc. Moral is that- I'm not gonna be able to write/publish chapters as often as I want. Please be patient- I really appreciate it if you've even made it this far in the story so please try and wait!! Overall- I will try to update ASAP!!

Besides that- I did watch Sex Education 3 and Squid game! Both are amazing... I'm very surprised over the attention squid game is getting- even locals at my conservative school are watching it... but it deserves it! Also... just as I predicted- Deja Vu is on repeat... I've learned almost all the lyrics... including Hongjoong and Mingi's raps... what can I say.. I love the song.

Thank You!!

PS: THIS CHAPTER IS NOT PROOFREAD- SORRY FOR ANY MISTAKES!
