Sudden dark expanding rumbling thunder clouds become the first signs of their approach. The ground beneath me heats, second. Intensifying vapors lift leaves and branches into the air. A strengthening wind swirls in the clearing's center surrounding the ancient one. Twisting faster and faster, then transforms into a small, controlled tornado. Sucking leaves, branches, and debris into its wind tunnel. The first coming into view from the dense forest is the Celestial wind tunnel Wulf Beta. "They have arrived.".
His ebony brown body pulses ethereal power, showing; he is restraining himself. His deep chocolate eyes locate and ferociously hold me in their gaze. Arching his head, he reflects his status. Then a rustling. From within the shrubs comes. Second in command, alone in his ruthless ferocity. Led by Olofi's Elite Alpha warrior. The Prime Alpha approaches, standing by his side.
From behind them emerge others. These are Olofi's killers. The Celestial spirit assassin, the celestial guardian of constellations, the twin celestial guardians' wielders of earth and water. Standing in a row alongside their leaders as one.
Each one a primary force of nature, each more than capable of eviscerating this form with little effort. "Their temperament, drawn by their lack of restraint, a fractional release of power, tells me. Their patience is thin. This form will easily be torn to pieces under their jaws if I answer wrong. The spirits told me of this, so did Oya. Still, I smile with admiration; Goddess chose her guardians well." My gaze meets those of Olofi 's elite alpha.
Ignoring the effects our gifts are having on nature. The ancient Seer and I lock gazes. He did not move. His attention focused as he sat upright on the small grassy hill. Maintaining our position some yards away at the forest edge line, I speak. "You know who we are and why we have come, ancient Seer. HE goes against our Oath and must be stopped, or all life will be in peril. And THAT, I will not allow."
Looking towards the new Celestial Guardian Pack. My response reveals pride. "His fortification is as was mine when I led."
Speaking to him, "Yes Crimson, Elite Alpha of the CELESTIAL GUARDIAN MOUNTAIN PACK, I DO. But your pack must prove worthy of what you will need to possess to defeat darkness." Suddenly without warning, a bolt of lightning cinders the ground millimeters from my feet. Its familiar static charge singes the tips of my paw hairs. "How's that for worthy? I can get closer if you like. Might sting, though." Shifting my eyes right. I am met with their Prime Alpha's burning platinum glare. His wulf speaks on par with the power of a celestial.
With his Wulf speaks, Sable's intent is revealed. From the moment his mother and my parents began revealing their past our arrival, Sable's patience has been thinning. However, not only his. My human mate, cousin, and Beta have been testy. That is why I requested Amarok to stay behind.
Yet, for now, the Seer must LIVE. With a gentle swerve of my head to Sable's wulf form, "Mate, kindly." But looking through Crimson's eyes, I am surprised. "Yes Reuben, It is he." Alejandro is in spirit possession of Sable's body. I can identify mulato's aura, whose profound agitation was reflecting in Sable's body. By how he steps, he confirms my suspicion. "Crimson. Where is Sable?"
"For reasons of his own, he watches in silence on the spirit realm." Sable is watching. Why? (Crimsons) clarifies, "Alejandro came for answers. Without a second thought, He will tear this wulf apart if he detects any of his responses cryptic. But I also question why my wulf mate remains within the spirit realm observing." Crimson rubs the left side of Sable/Alejandro's muzzle once. For now, at least. That is enough. Alejandro responds, "yes, mate."
Turning my gaze from Crimson, I look to my pack with a slow drop and lift of my eyelids; they know what I ask. "Fahrose." My tense tone gets its results. Without hesitation, Fahrose takes my lead.
"Yes, Uncle." Looking skyward. Shrouded by a dense jet-black cloud. It yawns above the ancient Seer. Silent as is her nature, I summon my element. Thunder explodes as rain falls in sheets, becoming a blinding downpour. However, from my mental image, the same droplets turn to icicle shards. Following my uncle Prime Alpha, I do not allow a single fragment to touch him. Guiding them away from him at the last moment, they fall, point first all around him.
He is trapped. Then, lower my head nodding at my Beta uncle, giving him a wulf wink.
I have ta chuckle at my niece. DAT BITCH CAN ROCK!! HOOP A NANNY! Now me. I gunna show him up close, and personal what dis here celestial guardian wulf can do "Cocoa. Hit it, gurl." Cocoa responds, summoning a second wind cyclone in front of us. I step through it, instantly reappearing inches in front of him on tiny tornados beneath my feet, keeping me aloft. I then summon more significant mini tornados to clean up Fahrose's ice spikes.
Appearing through the wind tunnel face to inching face ta dis Wulf, I feel something. "Dars something in da air around him. Something is not right. He's familiar." Then I see it. He is hiding it, but off his body, I see it. Platinum electricity! Gazing at him, into his eyes, I know HIM!! My breath caught in my throat, stopping everything; My wulf speak elates, "IT CAN'T BE YOU!!"
Da ancient Seer cuts me off. His Wulf speak alters to one I know all too well, "I have missed you too, Randy. As always, you could see through anything. Act normal, Randy. Everything is alright. I will shield your mind. Otherwise, SHE will know." I smile back, a slight head nod, stunned. My eyes glisten at who he is. Bowing my head, "yes, sir." I leave. There is nothing to prove.
Returning through a small tornado, I look to my leaders. More. I meet Luna's gaze. Inhaling, I tell my brother, "He is an ally prime alpha." Then turn my head away. Hoping I hid my emotions. Yet, with his following words, "I seek counsel with but one of your pack. Your celestial Guardian wulf of constellations." A death snarl of supernatural force explodes from Carmen & Celestra mutually. And Carmen is not me. Neither is Celestra.
With a chilling snarl, she attacks. In vaporous form, da gap between dem. Is gone. Spirit daggers appear in staggering mass all around da ancient seer. She knows something, and SHE is going to kill him to make sure wateva it is. Stays unknown.
Trapped, the ancient wulf impassively maintains his gaze. However, Carmen's spirit assassin knives press directly in front of his heart, with others surrounding his entire body, each one pushing inwards.
"What is the nature of this council?" Celestra's intent was clear; she would not permit me to relieve my pain as long as she lived. I take a step forward. Crimson looks to Alejandro's wulf form, then back towards the ancient seer. His own eyes begin glowing. The plants surrounding ancient wilting. Estrella speaks to me, "I must stop this before the seer is killed." But this time, it is my son who shows his leadership.
His tone, Prime Alpha's powerful, conversing with the ancient seer. Momentarily halting his Alpha mate's attack. "Ancient Seer, whatever it is. Is it worth dying for? It prepares my delta to kill you to save my mother her pain. My Alpha is following her, preparing to kill you. What is so terrible that you will put your own life in peril?" But it's Toti who answers. Her tone is resolute. Yet, with pain and shame in it as she addresses Celestra.
"Release him, Celestra. He is only trying to help reveal what our Prime Alpha must know before confronting one-eye." Lowering my head in shame, I look to Celestra. My strength fails me, my voice a whisper almost, "Carmen. I command you." For the first time, my pack sister looks me in the eyes. Celestra's own blaze exudes unearthly fury, remembrance of pain of my actions that day.
