27-Date Night?

Today started as a pretty normal day for me. Woke up, showered, got dressed, grabbed breakfast then headed to my studio. I wanted to play around with some new chords that I heard in a dream last night. It sounded way too good to not execute before I completely forgot. I set everything up then grabbed my guitar and began playing the chords.

Akeylah: (nods as she strums the notes) Aye, this is actually nice! My dreams never let me down!

I continued to work on building those chords until I saw someone sit across from me in the corner of my eye. I already knew it was Tyler.

Akeylah: (stops strumming and looks up at Tyler) You know, a phone call or even a text would be nice before you show up. Now, what if I wasn't here?

Tyler: (grinning, exposing his gap) What I can't come see my lady now? That's cold.

Akeylah: You can come, just let me know is all I'm saying, Ty. So what brings you by?

Tyler: (shrugs) I have nothing to do today and I'm bored as shit. I wanted to see if you wanted to go out on a date or something?

Akeylah: (grins) I have to get some things done around the house today but, if you were to help me out I could get done faster and we can go out...

Tyler: (sighs heavily) If I had known you were gonna put me to work I would've stayed home.

Akeylah: (laughs and playfully slaps his arm) Well you wont be bored anymore now will you?

I put my guitar back on its stand then walked out of the studio with Tyler not too far behind. We tidied up the house and washed my cars which turned into a chaotic water fight thanks to Tyler. When we finished I had to change my outfit completely so I just decided to get cute since we were going out. I also took it upon myself to do my hair as well.

I walked back downstairs, my white open toe heels clicking against the marble floors as I made my way into the living room to see Tyler sitting on the couch also in a completely different outfit. He looked up at me then bit his lip.

Tyler: Damn Key. We might not go anywhere now with you looking that good.

Akeylah: (walk towards the door playfully rolling her eyes) Oh please. This outfit is so casual. You said we were going out so that's what we're doing you hornball.

We both walked out of the house and got into his Rolls Royce

Akeylah: (puts on seatbelt) So where are we going today?

Tyler: (shrugs as he drives through the gates) Well I did want to go bike riding on this new trail I found but seeing how you're dressed, we can go grab some sushi at our favorite place then do whatever you want afterward.

Akeylah: I'm fine with that then. Now I just have to find something to do after we eat.

The car ride to the restaurant was silent but comfortable silent as music played lowly in the background. Tyler made sure to keep one hand on the wheel and one hand clasped in mine the entire time. It made me smile a little as I looked out of the window at the scenery passing by. Soon we arrived at the sushi spot. Tyler parked the car then turned and looked at me

Akeylah: (laughs) What nigga?

Tyler: (looks her up and down, smirking) You just look really good and I'm trying to keep my hands off of you. So I'm just gonna undress you with my eyes instead.

I giggled and blushed hard as hell while getting out of the car. We both entered the restaurant and were quickly seated. I ordered the spicy tuna rolls with tempura shrimp and veggies while he ordered a Nigiri sushi platter.
