"Gem? What- what are you doing here?" Harry gives Rachel a small nod letting her know it was okay to let Gemma in.

"Are you actually asking me that? Seriously? Fucks sake Harry!" Gemma walks past him towards the sitting room in long strides. "When was the last time we saw each other? The last time we even talked?"

"I know it's been a long time but-"

"But what? You're too busy? Harry, we're your family. You could at least ring us, visit mum. She's worried about you." She pulls at the ends of her ponytail. "You're so selfish, Harry."

Those words sting Harry, he knows she's hurt and angry, rightfully so. But he wished she wasn't so straightforward. "I-I just can't, Gemma. I can't."

"You can, but you don't want to. And that's the fucking issue here, isn't it?" Gemma says with so much anger laced in her voice.

"Please," Harry felt tears prickle in his eyes, he didn't like this. He didn't like upsetting his loved ones.

"As soon as it became difficult, you left. You could've stayed and helped out, be there for everyone. For him. But you didn't." She points her finger at him. "You turned your back on him, on us!"

"I was hurting-"

"We all were! Shit. We all are!" Gemma wasn't someone who liked raising her voice, but she was angry. So fucking angry at her brother. "Thing is, we understood the situation. We didn't leave him-"

"It was different, Gemma." Harry turns his head to hide the tears rolling down his face. "He wasn't your boyfriend, he wasn't you're one."

It hurt Gemma to see her brother like this, it also hurt her how easy it was for Harry to walk away from everyone. "He's like a brother to me, I love him as much as I love you. Same goes for mum, he's very special to her. And that's exactly why we don't understand why you gave up on him so easily."

"I didn't give up on him, I just did what was best for him." And for me.

"Bullshit!" She yells loudly, so frustrated with him.

"I am selfish!" Harry raises his voice as well, wiping at his eyes. "I did leave as soon as I realized he was never going to gain his memory back. I couldn't stay there and be a complete stranger to him. It was hurting me too much."

"So you just gave up on him? Just like that? And then proceed to pretend he isn't the love of your life, the one you were ready to propose to?" Gemma scoffs, she goes to open her mouth when someone standing by the doorway catches her eye.

"Hi, sorry." Niall slowly steps into the room looking between Harry and the young lady. "I heard yelling and got worried someone had broken in." He gives Harry a sheepish smile.

"Who the hell is this?" Gemma eyes the brunette before her dark intimidating eyes land on Harry.

Harry couldn't believe his luck, he'd thought Niall had left just like he did last time so he didn't bother on checking. Now he wishes that he did. "This is Niall-"

"You've moved on quite fast, haven't you?" She shakes her head in disbelief. "I would've never thought my brother would be this... this heartless."

"Oh no, we aren't dating." Niall quickly clears that up, he didn't like how the brunette was staring at him with such distaste.

"Right so, just a shag? Seriously? Andrew meant that little to you?" Gemma couldn't even look at Harry, she was so disappointed in him.

"We didn't shag either-"
