The sun slowly sets in the distance, it creeps over the dark blue sea. A women in a deep purple dress sits on the rail of the deck. She watches as the sun light reflects off the water, then into her grey eyes. She sighs and looks towards the door to her large room.

Through it she could see the
light purple bed spread and plain walls. She could see her walk-in closet with her rows and rows of purple dresses. She could see the plush white carpet and eggshell desk. She glanced over to her vanity, scanning the lavender perfumes and dark makeup.

A knock sounds from the room, and the women stands sneaking another glance at the sunset before answering the door. On the other side was a man in a white tux.

"The Emperor demands your presents in the great hall. It is your turn for dinner." The man says.

The women gives only a nod, her mouth remaining in a fine line. She moves to close the door but the man slams his hand agents the door before she has the chance.

"Purple," he growls "don't be late."

With this the man turns, walks down the plain white hallway and around the corner. The women closes the door and slides down it pulling her knees to her chest, and putting her head on her knees.

"Is that all I am?" The women thinks aloud."A meaning less color surrounded by a sea of white?"

"You don't have to be." A voice whispers from no where.

The women, shocked, raises her head. Her eyes scan the room, searching for the source. She stands and checks the closet, then under the bed.

"Come with me." The voice sounds again.

"Who are you?" The women mumbles. "Where are you?"

A young girl, about seventeen steps out from the white curtains covering the glass doors to the deck. She is wearing a grey t-shirt, dark leather leggings, and charcoal combat boots. She has fair hair that flows down her back, a single strand in her face.

The girl flicks the hair over her shoulder and holds out a hand to the women. "Come with me." She repeats.

The women shakes her head. "I can't the Emperor-"

"Won't notice you are gone for another ten minutes. That is just enough time to escape." The girl interrupts.

"Who are you?" The women whispers.

The girl smiles. "My name is Alaina, you can trust me. I've come to rescue you, to take you somewhere safe."

The women bursts into tears and rushes across the room into Alaina's arms. "Thank you," She sobs "thank you so much! You have no idea how horrible it is here!"

"Shh, shh," Alaina whispers. "I know it's been hard." Alaina heard foot steps. She held the women at arms length. "Come on. Lets get you out of here."

The women nods and Alaina pulls her out to the deck. She helps the flustered women onto the railing and instructed her on how to jump down to her waiting companions. The women took a deep breath and jumped.

Alaina took a deep breath and was about to jump when the door burst open. Men in white armor filtered into the room, and stopped to stare at Alaina on the railing of the deck.

Alaina smirked at the dumbfounded men. She put two fingers to her forehead in a salute, "Later!" She cried.

Then, she jumped.
