one kiss and two hugs

"OH COME ON, lets try again" screamed Bumi, pouting in front of the pai-sho board
"you sure? I mean its the third time you lose" Izumi grinned back at him
"its cause youre lucky and cause in the United Forces I dont get to play, Im just a little rusty"
"yeah yeah whatever, come on, your turn"
At this moment Aang opened the door, when he saw his son he screamed "Bumi! I-" when he rushed to hug him Bumi pushed him away
"uh uh, were playing here, no distractions"
"Bumi, I didnt see you in two months-"
"I CANT HEAR YOU, DISTRACTION"
Aang frowned and joined his wife on the couch, Katara had the biggest frown on her face, her arms crossed.
"sweetie-" said Aang noticing her behavior
"I didnt get to hug him! I DIDNT GET TO HUG MY SON"
"I know but-"
"I didnt get a hug, but IZUMI GOT A KISS AND TWO HUGS" groaned Katara
"hes a teen, we have ti understand-"
"I DIDNT SEE HIM IN TWO MONTHS AANG, TWO MONTHS"
"plus I know that he saw Izumi two weeks ago, his squadron is near the Fire Nation Capital!" whispered-shouted Katara, more and more annoyed and angry at his sons behavior.
The parents both sighed and leaned on the couch, more and more annoyed, their arms crossed...frowns on their faces.

Bumi began whining "HOW"
"I live with Uncle Iroh babe"

Kataras eyes widened and they looked at Aang *babe* she mouthed to him

"right, but I learned from the avatar"
Izumi gave him a look
"ok fine Irohs definitely more good at pai sho than my dad is"
"yeah, definitely...no offense uncle"
Aang didnt respond, Katara snapped him out of his thoughts.

"oh yeah, no problem" answered him, the nicest way possible

"well" Bumi sat up, slightly slamming his palms on the table
"we have to go"
"...yeah, thanks for everything...bye!" and with that they slammed the door

"bye- and theyre gone" groaned Katara
there was silence
after what felt like 20 minutes Aang spoke
"you know-"
"ugh please dont say that-"
"we should take this the positive way"
"what the fuck Aang"
"ugh I know"
there was silence again, their arms still crossed
Aang sighed "come on...you can do it"
Katara let out a scream, an horrific scream...a one that sair how angry she was
"WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY OH MY GOD WHY"
he picked a pillow and placed it in front of her, she began punching it
"UGH IM SO SO SO- UGH FUCK" she punched harder
"let it all out" said him, wincing
"I HATE ALL OF THIS BUT HES FUCKING HAPPY SO IM SELFISH"
"I- this starting to hurt"
she stopped, "ugh Im sorry...the kids didn't hear me right?"
"no they're hanging out"
"good..."

meanwhile Bumi and Izumi

"hey"
"what?"
"whats uo with your parents...they were a little..."
"what?"
"cranky...pissed off"
"nah"
"I- ok..."
suddenly he hugged her, more tight than usual
"BUMI...what the-"
"I missed you so much"
"I saw you two weeks ago..." she looked down
"but I missed you too" she smiled, leaning to kiss him, a kiss that tasted like sugar, he made his way to her neck
"Bumi"
"what?"
"not here"
"yeah sorry" he grinned sheepishly and moved away from her, but she picked his collar and kissed him once more

then she released "w-what!?"
"you know I love it when you listen to me"
"do I have your lipstick on my face?"
Izumis eyebrows united just for a moment then she spoke "just a bit...never mind it looks great on you"
"whatever..." he gave her his hand, she quickly accepted

Aang and Katara

now Kataras head was on Aangs lap, he was caressing her hair.
"we werent like this at their age"
"sweetie, we were engaged at their age"
Kataras eyes widened
"and if we were engaged-"
"you were already pregnant with Bumi" finished Aang
"I was 22 when I discovered it...and Izumis 21"
"dont panic, shes not pregnant"
"I know but...we were quickly with these things" said she
"what things?"
"kids...marriage"
"nah...we were ready, thats all that counts, we did a good job"
"theyve all grown up..."
"yeah...what are we gonna do?"
"I have a crazy idea" Katara grinned while speaking
"what?"
"nevermind its too crazy"
"Katara, tell me"
"what if...what if we have another?"
Aangs eyes widened,
"I- I- wow, I mean-"
"see? It was a crazy idea"
"another...another-"
"I mean can you imagine that?"
"baby another?"
"Aang, are you okay?"
"maybe?"
"I dont want another baby, I want to hug my son" she sighed, Aang sighed as well
they suddenly heard knocking, their eyes widened, "Ill go!" Aang got up but when he opened the door he saw...
"oh hi mai...zuko"
"um hi? thanks for the entusiasm..." said Zuko entering the room
"is Izumi here?" Mai got in as well
"you went all the way from the fire nation just to see if she was here?"
"of course shes our daughter!" they said in unison
"ugh is she here or not?"
"she hanging out with Bumi" answered Katara from the couch
"oh good" said Mai, Zuko scoffed and slipped near Katara on the couch
"oh grow up, Zuko, shes 21" said Mai to the firelord, who grunted at the thought.
"she didnt even tell us that she was leaving the nation!" screamed he
"Zuko, shes the firelord" said Mai
"I KNOW BUT...still" he pouted
"she grew up too quickly...what about we-"
"Zuko, no." answered Mai

suddenly they heard noise from outside the door
"and did u saw that earthbender? he was killing it!" exclaimed Bumi
"not like the waterbender- DID U SEE HER?!" Izumi laughed
"I- I missed this" said Bumi looking in her golden eyes
she sighed "me too..."
they stayed quiet for a while
"Bumi"
"hmm?" he caressed her hair...

Katara had his head on the window trying to see what was happening, Zukos ear was pressed on the door...Mai and Aang were on the couch...trying to keep their partners from doing stupid things.
"sweetie we should-"
"shhh, its happening something"
Zukos eyes widened
"what??"
"come here"
Mai sighed

"I- I know I never really said this to you but...I love you Bumi" she smiled as the words slippers out of her mouth
Bumis eyes widened and his cheeks got covered in a slight pink, he began moving slowly next to her...their eyes closed, he kissed her...a sweet but passionate kiss that neither of them was going to ever forget, at some point Izumi murmured something
"mhh, Bumi...Bumi ugh fuck"
"uh? I mean- If you want here-"
she pulled away "NO...no um...I think I saw something with the corner of my eyes
"what?"

"SHIT" said Katara
"what?" said Aang in a nervous tone
"she saw us" said Zuko, running to the couch near his wife
"oh I really didnt see that coming..." said Mai sarcastically
"Izumis not dumb, of course she catched you" said Mai
"are you saying Bumis dumb?" said Katara
"no I-"

the door opened and Bumi and Izumi appeared on the doorway...their parents stayed quiet
Izumi looked at her boyfriend
shit... she hissed quietly
"pss...Bumi" whispered Izumi
"what?"
"your mouth is red...the red of my lipstick"
"shit"
Bumi made an awkward grin, Zukos gaze on his mouth
"Oh these fire flakes- I mean...Im such a kid! Cant eat without making myself so dirty!"
Izumi picked a napkin and handed it to him
"yeah...geez youre really a mess"
"yeah..." he began wiping away the red stain
the parents sighed
"hes just like you Zuko...you cant eat those without making dirty your mouth!" said Mai
"true! true..."
"I love fire flakes..." said Aang
"yeah, you do" said Katara looking away

Izumi gave Bumi her hand
"I know I never really say this but...youre pretty slick" whispered her to him
Bumi grinned
"love you"
"love you too"
