"AUNT SUKI!" a 5 year old Bumi ran to his aunt, who smiled at his entusiam, she kneeled at his height and hugged him tightly.

"I missed you!" the boy said, making Suki widely smile...throught the years Suki had always been really attached to her nephews, but with Bumi was different, the kid felt understood by his non-bender aunt and loved her with all his heart.

"aw I missed you too, so much" the kid released the hug and ran away to his parents, Katara was running after her son as Aang had Kyas little hand in his, the little
girl had her hair braided in little braids and a beautiful blue dress on.
"Aunt Suki!" she tried running to her but feel on her knees halfway, the kid managed to get up as his dad rushed to her, to get her up.

"we still have a little trouble walking" Aang said, helpig Kya up, the kid seemed quite unbothered from the fall, but Aang began examinating his daughter to find any bruises

"daddy im fine!" she squealed, Suki smiled seeing the little girl full of such spirit

"you fell quite hard there, sweetie...do you feel hurt somewhere?" Aangs sweet expression showed up

"Im fine!" that said she rushed to her aunt, slightly stumbling on every step, Suki smiled and welcomed her in her arms, kneeling at her height

"youve become quite the master walker, Ky"

"I know!"

Aang smiled at his daughter, then turned to Suki

"me and Sokka missed you so much, you dont visit enough" they hugged eachother

"just imagine how is traveling with those two...its not an easy task to pass by" Aang chuckled

"what do you have on your face, auntie??" Kya interrupted

"oh its face paint dear, its part of my uniform"

"cool!!!" Kya clapped her hands together

"can I have it too??"

Suki looked at Katara, who was now adjusting her daughters dress

"sweetie, youre too little, lets wait awhile till you grow up, k?"
Kya pouted

"sorry ky ky but you heard your mom..." while talking she winked at her niece and Kya smiled, they were going to try on face paint that day.

"oh and for the record, why in uniform?" Katara asked, trying to keep her daughter to running away in the palaces corridors.

"I just took off a guard watch...Zuko and Mai are having a meeting right now and Sokka...well I dont really know where he his but hell come around soon"

just after she finished talking they saw Sokka rushing to them from the huge corridors of the palace, he ran to hug his sister

Katara smiled, hugging him back

"sorry, I was searching for Suki and got lost...this place is enormous"

Katara chuckled "after all this years, you still get lost in the corridors?"

"hey! its REALLY big here" he turned his head and gave a kiss on the cheek to Suki, who smiled at the gesture

"uncle!!" Bumi hugged him

"spirits Bum youve grown so much!" Sokka smiled at him

"what about me?" "look I can run!" Kya took a few insicure steps, Aang ready to pick her up if she fell again, but the kid sprinted without esitation to her uncle, Sokka took her in his arms

"youre amazing ky! I couldnt run like that if I wanted to" he smiled at his niece, who clapped her hands, overexcited by the situation

Katara smiled, seeing the couple having fun with the kids...
