Hours before Under-Light went under, at the West Gate of Under-Light a group of six came in unharmed, in search for their “Masked savior”. In the end all they received was a missing group member, and the rest in disarray. Especially three of them, who had lost their loved one in the confusion. The small hours of calm, the group received word that there was clues on what had happened to their “Masked Savior”. So they went to investigate, but in the process of leaving the West Gate area, where a confused C4 stood in the darkness of the watch tower, and a dazed U.C. stood staring at the ceiling of their confinement underground.
Nothing would be the same once those individuals meet, everything would fall into a horrid disarray.
U.C. heard a small commotion coming from the West gates, and went slowly to investigate the issue. He slowly dawdled to the entrance and almost bumped into a cloaked figure. Calmly stepping back, U.C. bowed slightly and apologized.
The cloaked figure was rather small, and had a similar smell to C4 and himself, that U.C. almost did a double take on wanting to reveal the person in front of him. But not wanting to be rude, U.C. shook his head and waved the cloaked figure off, and continued towards the West gate.
“Is everything alright?” U.C. asked as he walked up to the two arguing men, who surprisingly wore the same cloak as the one he almost ran into.
“Hey, mind your own business. Whitey!” The younger one reared back at U.C., who took a solemn step back as the youngster faced him.
“K-Kuroo?” U.C. stared in silence, as memories from way back then came flooding to the surface. More and more of them just seemed to be haunting him, ever since she left.
“Ugo Cade? Is that you?” the young dark haired boy peered at the white teen, who rubbed the back of his head.
“Ah, I go by U.C. now. I didn’t exactly like how that name sounded anyways…” U.C. mumbled to himself, and glanced at the ground as if it was interesting.
He felt a warm hand on his shoulders, and a cloaked body was standing in front of him, with slight poise.
“So, you really did grow up? What are you doing here? I thought you would’ve been… Well, somewhere else, on your crazy journey that is.” The young teen standing in front of U.C., known as Kuroo, was smiling big and held a ticked expression as best as he could.
Kuroo wasn’t expecting the Ugo Cade to be here. Was he really here the whole time he was checking out Under-Light? Kuroo ram sacked his brain, making sure he didn’t forget to remember who the so called Guardians were, and where they were going to be posted that day.
He didn’t exactly remember the white haired teen being on the papers. And he was definitely sure he didn’t see or “feel” the legendary Ugo Cade. This was going to be an even bigger issue if Shoyo finds out that Ugo Cade was here.
Sighing, Kuroo brought the white haired teen around face to face with his so called “Father”.
“Dad~, this is Ugo – ah I mean U.C. . . U.C. this is my dad, Artemis.”
“Your d-d-dad?” U.C. stared at the tall man before him and tried to remember such a man.
“I’m glad you found your dad, Kuroo.”
“Huh, oh no…. I didn’t find “him”… This guy adopted me and – “ Kuroo couldn’t come to say the other boys’ name, and felt wrong when he didn’t mention Shoyo. Knowing that Shoyo actually meant something to U.C. but, for some odd reason he couldn’t bring himself to say his brothers’ name.
“Well, I’m glad you have one. A family that is… Hey where’s Sho? He usually never leaves your side?” The white haired teen seemed as if he forgot something, and an escalated facial expression spread across his face in matters of seconds.
Dashing off, U.C. was gone in seconds.
“Ah, wait U.C.!”
As soon as Kuroo caught sight of the white boy, he saw something he rather would have not seen in ever in his short term life.
A blast of energy made Kuroo fly backwards into Artemis, who held him tightly as the pressure kept building. Another faint sound was heard from behind the duo, Kuroo had barely anytime to see what it was, until another blast of energy streamed past the two. Almost knocking them over again.
“U.C. calm down!” A young mans’ voice was heard shouting over the crazy winds, which seemed to calm down making Kuroo curious as to who could calm down the Legendary Ugo Cade from going on a rampage. This is what he was talking about, when he didn’t want U.C. to know that Shoyo was nearby or alive for the matter.
Why, because the two boys would try to kill one another on sight.
“C4, knows not the time to stop me. Especially not from killing that guy!” U.C.‘s voice raised higher, and once again the winds picked up, and that crazy sense of killing intent seared the very hairs on Kuroo’s arms.
“U.C.?” One of the cloaked figures stepped forward from behind Shoyo, who had his hood down revealing his own dark hair with raging streaks of white blond and blood red; seemingly taking over his original hair color. This was getting out of hand. Kuroo could see that Shoyo’s eyes were darkening and his abilities were shaking visibly around his hands.
“U.C. as in Ulric?” The cloaked figure behind Shoyo revealed their face, making U.C. sound like he was choking on the very air itself as blond locks revealed themselves and thistle eyes peered back into grey emerald ones.
Ulric? Who’s that? Kuroo glanced back at U.C., the Ugo Cade he remembered from back then was not certainly standing before him. This Ugo Cade, or know known as U.C. was even more dangerous from before, and he seemed to be hiding something else behind those-
What’s with his eyes? And does he really know this girl?
“Ulric is that really you?” Jeanne, Kuroo remembered the blondes’ name from whenever his dad introduced them from before, reached out to U.C.’s trembling figure.
“Je-Jeanne?” The name came out hoarse like, and U.C. stumbled backwards from the soon to be death fight. The white haired boy seemed in distress, and he almost looked as if he was going to lose it any minute.
“Why-wh-why are you-“
“Alive?” The blond girl finished for him, and then a wicked smile crossed her face, but disappeared as soon as it appeared. Maybe an ill thought ran through her mind. It almost seemed as if she wanted to tear apart the white haired teen into pieces at the mere mentioning of being just alive.
“I-I didn’t see you at the orphanage… Yuu, and Renee at the orphanage… I-I thought I lost you to that Demon’s fire… I-I couldn’t find you… I couldn’t…”
“Ulric, we’re alive and well I reassure you. But I also reassure you that that was no regular Demon’s fire. That was poor little Renee’s fault. You see Renee was being picked on and things got out of hand…” Jeanne glanced behind her at the other two cloaked figures, who in return nodded their hidden faces.
“You see Ulric, we’re actually Hanyou’s, or what everyone likes to call us Half-breeds. That day and then on we found out our uniqueness amongst our travels of what we could do. And well here we are. Apparently with someone you know and probably left too,” she looked back at Shoyo and gave him a sad smile.
“Did he leave you too, Shoyo?”
“Ugo Cade… No U.C….” the raged teen behind the blond Hanyou girl, seemed to be shaking as the girl he seemed to have a found with revealed some of her own secrets’, and how she knew the white haired boy before them.
“You really want to die, huh?”
